We are building a large tech organization for Amazon Freight from scratch. Amazon Freight is now part of Amazon Supply Chain Services and is building an innovative transportation network with the vision of redefining shipping for its customers. To grow our Less-Than-Truckload (LTL) and Truckload (TL) business continues, we are looking to building state of the art and brand new (1) network capabilities (2) shipper/seller facing capabilities (3) science capabilities execution optimization. The new team will be building foundational core capabilities around (1) Shipment Execution- Quoting and Booking, Carrier/Driver Workflow , Shipper Workflow ,shipper signals, Driver/Shipper Handoffs, 3P Site Intelligence, demand side Disruption Mgmt (2) Trailer Operations - Trailer Pool Mgmt. , Equipment Assignment, Quality & Prep (3) Scheduling & Optimization - Shipper Scheduling workflow, Cost-Optimal Demand shaping, Cancellations/Reschedules (4) Cost, Demand & Volume Planning - Cost Planning & Prediction , Forecasting. This position requires strong business judgment, exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills. The ideal candidate combines strategic thinking with operational excellence, is comfortable making data-driven decisions in ambiguous environments and has experience translating complex transportation economics into scalable network execution strategies.
