Job description

Responsibilities

• Maximize product value by defining a clear product vision, managing the product backlog, and prioritising work based on business goals.
• Act as the primary liaison between stakeholders and delivery teams to ensure the product meets user/customer needs.
• Develop a roadmap and drive execution of the product area/sub‑journey, applying continuous improvement principles.
• Communicate product vision and goals to delivery teams, aligning them to deliver business value.
• Create, refine, and maintain detailed user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Participate in key Agile events such as sprint planning, daily stand‑ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
• Maintain and prioritise the product backlog, balancing risk, value and future‑proofing.
• Gather and incorporate customer feedback to act as the voice of the customer.
• Review and accept or reject work completed during sprints, ensuring features meet acceptance criteria.
• Collaborate closely with stakeholders to gather requirements and align product vision with business objectives.
• Monitor product performance using KPIs and iterate the backlog and roadmap accordingly.
• Manage readiness, governance and approvals for live products.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate risks, escalating as necessary and aligning controls with product management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree (or equivalent) from a recognized university.
• Hands‑on experience of workflow application and business rules engine.
• Proficiency in MS Excel, Visio, Word, PowerPoint and SQL.
• Experience in requirements gathering, analysis, functional design, business & technical documentation, test case creation and execution, and data analysis.
• Prior experience as a Business Analyst in the financial domain, especially in customer onboarding, AML or KYC.
• Strong skills in risk and controls, change and transformation, business acumen, strategic thinking, and digital technology.
