Job description

Your Will Be’s:

As a Technical Product Manager (R&D), you will own the technical product roadmap and execution for core wearable technologies, including sensors, health algorithms, firmware capabilities, AI-driven features, and system architecture. You will work closely with cross‑functional teams across hardware, firmware, mobile applications, cloud services, algorithms, and external technology partners to bring innovative wearable experiences from concept to mass production.

The ideal candidate combines strong technical depth with product thinking and has experience building consumer electronics, wearables, IoT devices, or health‑tech products.

Product & Technology Strategy
  • Define and drive the technology roadmap for wearable platforms and next‑generation health features.
  • Identify emerging trends in wearables, sensors, health monitoring, AI, and edge computing.
  • Translate business objectives into technical product requirements and development plans.
  • Evaluate new technologies, components, and partnerships to enhance product capabilities.
Technical Product Development
  • Own end‑to‑end technical requirements for wearable features and platform capabilities.
  • Create detailed Product Requirement Documents (PRDs), technical specifications, and validation plans.
  • Drive development of health and fitness features, including:
    • Heart Rate Monitoring
    • Sleep Tracking
    • Stress Monitoring
    • SpO₂ Monitoring
    • Activity Recognition
    • Energy & Recovery Metrics
    • AI‑powered Health Insights
  • Collaborate with firmware, hardware, mobile app, cloud, and algorithm teams to ensure seamless implementation.
R&D Execution
  • Lead feasibility studies, proofs‑of‑concept, and technology evaluations.
  • Drive sensor selection, optical architecture discussions, algorithm integration, and system optimization.
  • Work with engineering teams to resolve technical bottlenecks and product trade‑offs.
  • Ensure technical readiness before product commercialization.
Partner & Vendor Management
  • Collaborate with chipset vendors, sensor suppliers, algorithm providers, and ODM/OEM partners.
  • Manage technical discussions, integration plans, timelines, and deliverables.
  • Evaluate third‑party technology solutions and drive technical negotiations.
Validation & Performance
  • Define KPIs and success metrics for wearable performance.
  • Analyze validation data and benchmark performance against industry‑leading products.
  • Drive improvements in: Accuracy, Battery Life, Sensor Performance, User Experience, System Reliability
  • Support certification, field testing, and production readiness activities.
The Ideal Noisemaker:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Electronics, Computer Science, Biomedical Engineering, or related fields.
  • 5–8 years of experience in Product Management, R&D, Systems Engineering, or Technical Program Management.
  • Experience working on consumer electronics, wearables, IoT devices, health‑tech products, or embedded systems.

  • Experience working with algorithm validation, calibration, and performance benchmarking.
  • Familiarity with RTOS‑based embedded platforms and wearable chipset ecosystems.
  • Exposure to health and wellness domains, including biometric sensing and digital health solutions.
  • Experience working with global technology vendors and manufacturing partners.
