Job summary

Quest Global invites experienced engineers with deep Oil & Gas process equipment knowledge to join a role focused on technical governance and project leadership in Bengaluru. Engage with production operations, evaluate capabilities, and drive quality deliverables for Fortune 500 partners.

You will guide technical leads, oversee projects, foster client relationships, and promote compliant, growth-oriented team culture within a dynamic engineering services environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from a recognized university in Chemical Engineering
• Minimum work experience (16 years) with in the Oil and Gas industry in upstream/ downstream or petrochemical operations.
• Must have been leading large team of engineers in his/her current role.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the overall engagement with a robust governance system from Technical perspective.
• Provide guidance to technical leads & senior lead engineer in the right direction.
• Utilize technical expertise to secure more projects through ongoing and pilot initiatives.
• Assist in evaluating the technical capabilities of team members.
• Comprehend customer requirements and onboard suitable talents to deliver projects as needed.
• Accountable for quality of team deliverables.
• Cultivate strong relationships with clients.
• Identify team capability gaps and implement improvement strategies.
• Conduct RCA on customer escalations.
• Foster an environment that promotes the development of talent.
• Set a positive example for the rest of the team/organization.
• Adhere to all compliances & Instill the right culture within the team.

Required Skills (Technical Competency)

• Majority of experience should be in a technical services role supporting operations/production organization.
• Broad technical expertise in typical oil and gas process equipment Basic design and operation
• Experience in handling medium to large projects
• Experience with P&IDs, equipment data sheets, interpreting vendor manuals, PFDs, Cause & Effects diagrams &operation manuals.
• Experience with MS office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio).
• Strong verbal & written communication skills
