Job summary

Exclusive Networks in India seeks a Senior Technical Manager to lead the Thales security stack—CipherTrust, Key Management, encryption, and data protection. You will guide pre-sales, design architectures, and manage PS engagements across projects, migrations and upgrades.

Ideal candidates bring 8–12 years in IT security, strong client-facing skills, and a track record delivering complex Thales solutions with teams and partners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, CS, IT or related field.
• 8–12 years in IT infrastructure, network/security or cybersecurity tech.
• Strong knowledge of Thales CipherTrust Manager, Data Security, Key Management, Encryption, HSM.
• Experience in pre-sales, solution design, POC, implementation and post-sales support.

Responsibilities

• Lead Thales technical team and manage pre-sales and PS activities.
• Design Thales security solutions and architectures per customer needs.
• Lead POCs, workshops, and customer demonstrations.
• Prepare HLD/LLD, BOM, proposals, SOWs and RFP/RFI responses.
• Manage Thales implementations, migrations, upgrades and troubleshooting.
• Drive PS revenue through deployment, migration, consulting and services.
• Collaborate with Thales OEM, sales, partners and customers to identify opportunities.
• Mentor team and develop capabilities through certifications and training.
• Monitor pipeline, PS revenue, project status and customer satisfaction.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

About the role

• Lead the Thales technical team and manage pre-sales and Professional Services activities.
• Provide technical leadership for Thales data security solutions, including CipherTrust Data Security Platform, Key Management, HSM, encryption and data protection.
• Understand customer requirements and design appropriate Thales security solutions and architectures.
• Lead POCs, technical workshops, customer presentations and solution demonstrations.
• Prepare HLD/LLD, BOM, technical proposals, SOWs and RFP/RFI responses.
• Manage Thales implementation, integration, migration, upgrades and troubleshooting projects.
• Drive Thales Professional Services revenue through deployment, migration, consulting, training and managed services.
• Work closely with Thales OEM, sales, partners and customers to identify opportunities and resolve technical issues.
• Manage technical escalations and ensure timely resolution of customer issues.
• Plan and manage resource allocation, project timelines, utilization and delivery quality.
• Build strong relationships with Thales, customers and partners.
• Develop team capabilities through Thales certifications, training, mentoring and knowledge sharing.
• Identify opportunities for new business, cross-selling and recurring services revenue.
• Monitor technical pipeline, PS revenue, project status and customer satisfaction.
• Provide regular technical and business updates to management and support the overall growth of the Thales business.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

About you

The Ideal Technical Manager

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 8-12 years of experience in IT infrastructure, network/security, or cybersecurity technologies, with relevant experience in Thales data security solutions.
• Strong knowledge of Thales CipherTrust Manager, Data Security, Key Management, Encryption, and HSM solutions.
• Experience in technical pre-sales, solution design, POC, implementation, migration, and post-sales support.
• Proven experience in managing technical teams, customer escalations, and multiple projects.
• Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to engage with customers, partners, OEMs, and internal sales teams.
• Experience in preparing technical proposals, SOWs, BoQs, solution architectures, and RFP/RFI responses.
• Relevant Thales certifications and cybersecurity certifications would be an added advantage. Qualification 2
