Job summary

Birlasoft ( India ) Limited in Hyderabad is seeking a seasoned Technical Lead-Testing Services to spearhead automation initiatives. You will lead testing automation efforts, architect frameworks, and mentor teams to deliver robust API and UI automation solutions from Hyderabad office.

The role requires strong expertise in RestAssured/Karate for API testing, Selenium with Java, and experience with remote execution tools. You will drive CI/CD integration and enforce best practices across projects.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in Test Automation.
• 5-8 years relevant work experience.
• Strong knowledge of RestAssured/Karate for API testing.
• Proficient in Selenium with Java.
• Experience with remote execution tools (Sauce Labs, Selenium Grid, BrowserStack).
• Strong experience with Maven/Gradle/Ant.
• Experience with TestNG, Cucumber, JUnit.
• Experience integrating test automation with CI/CD on cloud or on-prem.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Test Lead- Automation

Must Haves:

• - Overall 8+ years of working in Test Automation
• - 5-8 years relevant work experience
• - Must have commanding knowledge on RestAssured/Karate – API Testing.
• - Highly proficient in Selenium with Java.
• - Should be familiar with remote execution tools like Sauce Labs, Selenium Grid, Browerstack etc..
• - Must have commanding knowledge on Maven/Gradle/Ant
• - Must have commanding knowledge on TestNG, Cucumber, JUnit.
• - Experience with build, testing and continuous integration tools and integrating test automation framework on cloud or on prem infrastructure
• - Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Good to have:

• - Knowledge on Credit Card/Payments domain.
• - Formulate automation best practices guidelines.
• - Knowledge on various testing tools available in the market to provide consulation to the customer when needed.
• - Should have conducted various training workshops on framework/tools.
• - Hands on experience on service virtualisation using Mockito/Wiremock/Hoverfly.
