Job summary

Embitel Technologies, a VW Group company, Bangalore-based ASW development team, seeks a Technical Lead to steer implementations for power electronics and ECU software.

You will analyze requirements, design robust control algorithms, mentor engineers, and collaborate across functions in an agile setup to deliver high-quality automotive software. Prior experience with AUTOSAR and embedded tooling is valued.

Qualifications

• Overall 5–12 years of development experience.
• Experience with MATLAB/Simulink/Stateflow for control algorithms.
• Strong knowledge of OBC, DCDC, power electronics.
• Familiar with MISRA C/C++ and modelling guidelines.
• Knowledge of CAN/CAN FD, Flexray or Ethernet.
• UDS ISO 14229 familiarity.
• Proficient with debugging tools CANalyzer, CANoe, Wireshark.
• Experience with SAFe Agile environment.
• familiarity with PTC-Integrity/CodeBeamer/Doors.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Analyze requirements, software design and develop functions for Power Electronics, Onboard Charger (OBC) and DCDC.
• Collaborate across teams to deliver embedded software components for automotive ECU.
• Debug and validate firmware using relevant tools and standards.
• Mentor engineers and ensure adherence to coding guidelines and modelling standards.
