Job summary

Embitel Technologies in Bengaluru (Whitefield) seeks an experienced ASW Development engineer for the eConverterControl project. You will analyze requirements, design software, and develop functions for Power Electronics, Onboard Charger (OBC) and DCDC.

The ideal candidate holds a BE/B.Tech/M.E./M.Tech in Electronics/Power Electronics and Drives with 5–12 years of MBBD using MATLAB/Simulink/Stateflow, in a Cariad India setting.

Qualifications

• BE/B.Tech/M.E./M.Tech in Electronics, Communications, Electrical or Power Electronics and Drives.
• 5–12 years experience in model-based development of control algorithms using MATLAB/Simulink/Stateflow.
• Strong knowledge of OBC/DCDC, Power Electronics and ECU debugging in automotive projects.
• MXAM modelling guidelines and MISRA C/C++ coding standards experience.
• CAN, CAN FD, FlexRay or Ethernet automotive networks knowledge.
• UDS ISO 14229 familiarity; experience with CANalyzer, CANoe, Wireshark.
• Proficient with Jira, PTC-Integrity/CodeBeamer/Doors.
• Lauterbach TRACE32/iSYSTEM debugging experience.
• Experience with TPT and GTEST is a plus.
• Experience in SAFe agile environment.
• Strong problem-solving and debugging abilities.
• Good communication and collaboration skills.

Skills

B.E. / B.Tech / M.E. / M.Tech in Electronics /Communication / Electrical / Power Electronics and Drives

At least 5 -12 years of working experience in Model Based Development of Control Algorithms using MATLAB/ Simulink/Stateflow.

Strong understanding of control algorithms and techniques for OBC, DCDC, Power Electronics and debugging for Automotive ECU development projects.

Experience with modelling guidelines (MXAM) and coding guidelines/standards (MISRA C/C++)

Solid understanding of automotive communication protocols such as CAN, CAN FD, Flexray or Ethernet.

Familiarity with UDS (ISO 14229) or diagnostic protocols and experience working with CANalyzer, CANoe, or Wireshark for network debugging and validation.

Working knowledge of tools like PTC-Integrity/Codebeamer/Doors, Jira.

Experience in system debugging using the tools like Lauterbach (TRACE32), iSYSTEM

Experience using testing tools like TPT and GTEST is an added advantage.

Experience in SAFe agile environment

Strong problem-solving and debugging abilities.

Good communication and collaboration skills.
