Job Summary

Sr. Technical Lead – SDET, part of the Thales DIS/MCS Business Line, attached to DES – Thales, within the Adaptive Connect (TAC) feature team. You will design, build, test and deploy effective testing solutions, reducing manual effort.

You will collaborate with MCS teams and customers to understand their needs, maintain a roadmap for the components you oversee, and support deployment of these components.

Job Skills & Qualifications

Education and Experience

• Masters or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems or equivalent
• Minimum 8 years of relevant experience

Technical Skills

• Java microservice architecture – development and validation
• Telecom domain experience (UICC/SIM Card/e‑SIM, protocols SGP 32, SGP 22, GSM)
• Expertise in development and execution of validation plans, process improvement, validation studies, risk assessment, and reporting
• Performance, tuning and capacity planning for microservice/cloud based applications
• Proficiency with HTTP/HTTPS/SSL/TLS protocols
• Continuous Integration / Continuous Deployment with GitLab
• API test‑automation with Python and Karate, mocks, and non‑functional testing knowledge is a plus
• Architecture & deployment: Docker, Kubernetes, Helm; microservice based architecture
• Linux and shell scripting (nice to have)
• SQL database expertise; NoSQL (Cassandra) is a plus
• Deployment and monitoring on AWS and GCP
• Software security principles
• Delivery tools: Maven, Mercurial; Scrum, Kanban, Jira
• Static code analysis with Sonar, Fortify
• Confluence, Bitbucket knowledge is a plus
