Job summary

Thales Group in Noida, India is seeking a Software IV/QA Engineer to join its Engineering team. You will contribute to IVVQ plans, test campaigns, and integration efforts across diverse projects in defense, aerospace, and cyber domains.

Ideal candidates hold a Master of Engineering with strong hands-on experience in test, integration, verification and software development, plus Agile experience. You will collaborate in a fast-paced environment, delivering high-quality solutions.

Responsibilities

• Ensure test preparation and execution according to IVVQ strategy

• Participate in design of IVVQ activities, planning and procedures
• Prepare test campaigns, execute tests and analyse results
• Write and update test procedures documentation and lead demonstrations
• Contribute to best practices capitalisation and continuous improvement

• You have a Master of Engineering and have a significant proven experience among the following areas: Test, Integration, Verification, Validation and Software development
• You have already used Agile methods while working on the integration of solutions
• You want to work on software configuration and integration within a challenging environment, where you can deal with diverse and complex projects
• You love to focus on the user and have outstanding problem-solving skills
• You are recognised as a team player and foster collaborative work

COMPETENCIES

• You have a deep understanding of the Engineering Project Management Principles and are able to structure or respect a software IVVQ plan
• You are familiar with various operating systems and have great knowledge of relevant tools and programming languages
• You have knowledge of IoT platforms and IS Computing Platforms
• You are proficient with: Test Case development and execution (manual and/or automated)
• Requirements Analysis
• Test Management Tools (e.g. DOORs)
• You have a proven capacity to ensure success by meeting deadlines and achieving a balanced budget
• You have the ability to engage and influence the stakeholders
• You know how to use your creativity to give full customer satisfaction

LIFE AS A THALES SOFTWARE IV/QA ENGINEERING ROLE

• Ensure the test preparation and execution according to the strategy given by the IVVQ Manager
• Be strongly involved in project delivery
• Satisfy customer’s expectations concerning Software IV/QA activities
• Participate in the design of all IVVQ activities, planning and procedures
• Prepare test campaigns, run the tests and analyse the results
• Write and update the integration and verification test procedures documentation
• Lead the demonstration to the end customer
• Contribute to the capitalisation and continuous improvement of best practices
