Job summary
Version 1 is seeking an experienced AI Technical Lead in Mumbai to guide the design and delivery of AI-enabled applications. You will mentor engineers, drive architecture decisions, and collaborate with stakeholders to create scalable, cloud-native solutions using Python, React, and AWS.
The ideal candidate has 10+ years in software engineering with leadership experience, deep Python expertise, and a track record of building AI-powered systems leveraging LLMs, Generative AI, and RAG.

- 10+ years of software engineering, with lead/Technical Lead experience.
- Expert-level Python development.
- Experience designing REST APIs and microservices.
- Experience with AWS cloud services, architecture, and DevOps practices.
- OOAD, design patterns, and best practices.
- Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management.
Responsibilities
- Lead design, development, and maintenance of scalable, high-performance applications using React, Python, and AWS.
- Architect and deliver AI-powered solutions leveraging Generative AI, LLMs, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), and agent-based workflows where appropriate.
- Mentor and guide developers and AI engineers, promoting engineering excellence and best practices.
- Collaborate with business and technology stakeholders to translate requirements into innovative technical solutions.
- Conduct architecture reviews, code reviews, unit testing, and integration testing to ensure quality, performance, and maintainability.

We are looking for an experienced AI Technical Lead with 10+ years of software engineering experience and strong expertise in Python, and AI-powered application development, Generative AI, LLMs, and agentic AI solutions. Experience with React-based front-end development and AWS cloud technologies would be advantageous.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of leading engineering teams, architecting scalable solutions, and delivering modern AI-enabled applications leveraging Large Language Models (LLMs), Generative AI, and cloud-native technologies.
The successful candidate will provide technical leadership across the full software development lifecycle, mentor developers and AI engineers, collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders, and drive innovation through the adoption of AI and modern engineering practices.

Qualifications

- 10+ years of experience in software engineering, with experience in a Technical Lead or Lead Developer role.
