Title: Technical Lead Java

Location: Bangalore

Reports to: Director, Professional Services

The Person: The successful candidate will be an intelligent, highly energetic self‑starter with excellent communication, technical skills and a very solid technical background in the application development world. Experience of working in Application Modernization / DevOps / Cloud readiness assessments / Flaw Interception & Security projects is mandatory. Prior experience in working with any professional services teams would be a big plus. They love and understand complex technologies and always seek out engaging technical discussions and have the appetite to work in a fast‑paced consulting environment.

Role & Responsibilities

As a lead, you will help address various customer’s problems – identifying the applications which can be transformed to cloud, identifying security vulnerabilities to reduce the business risk, assisting customers in modernising their applications by providing MRI‑like visibility of the software to assess complexity, functionality, etc., assessing vendor team productivity to optimise budget use, identifying regulatory requirements like storage of personal data, and helping the business be compliant, among other use cases.

Role combines a thorough understanding of the product and recommending CAST solutions.

• Lead project teams in all technical aspects of project execution, guiding consultants and stakeholders and delivering advanced technical configuration of CAST products.
• Analyze an enterprise AIP platform across all stages of the product lifecycle.
• Work in complete autonomy to deliver project deliverables with the required quality.
• Interpret various CAST metrics for customers to solve specific use cases.
• Provide troubleshooting risk identification with mitigation plans.
• Execute pilots and assessments.
• Analyze customer applications to provide end‑to‑end processes including customer communication.
• Provide custom solutions to customer requirements.
• In sync with the Project Manager, detect potential risks and issues, engage and track remediation plans, and contribute to designing remediation plans for senior level.
• Improve internal processes, tooling, and quality processes.
• Design, build, and document technical materials for project execution, ensuring reusability for future engagements and maintaining knowledge on best practices.
• Show experience in the AD world, excellent problem‑solving, and communication skills with a strong drive.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent) in a technical discipline; a master’s degree would be a plus.
• Effectively communicate in English – mandatory for non‑native speakers (oral and written).
• 6 to 8+ years of technical consultancy experience in software development/implementation within the software industry.
• Strong technical expertise in either J2EE or .NET and one of the common databases such as Oracle, DB2, or SQL Server.
• Excellent communication skills, including the ability to communicate at senior levels within client organizations.
• Strong knowledge of the AD world is mandatory.
• Ability to work independently toward stated business goals.
