Job Summary:

The team builds sophisticated CAST Imaging platform to fully understand the inner structure of the complex IT Systems developed and used by the Fortune 500 companies.
• CAST Imaging is unlike any other code analyzer: it’s like an MRI examining your custom software applications, enabling you to visualize and understand their intricate inner workings. • CAST Imaging runs a deep, semantic and contextual analysis of all artifacts comprising an application, identifies all its code elements and data structures, and maps out all their dependencies. • We are looking for a senior Database and Application Architect with deep expertise in graph technologies particularly Neo4j—to drive the architecture, design, and implementation of complex, enterprise‑scale product and platform ecosystems.
• The ideal candidate brings strong backend engineering capabilities, deep expertise in NoSQL, graph, relational, vector databases & related tools and proven experience building distributed, scalable, cloud‑native solutions, aligned with CAST’s focus on software intelligence, application modernization, and large‑scale architectural analysis.
• Architect and implement scalable, fault‑tolerant distributed queueing solutions to enable efficient communication and high‑volume data processing across microservices.
• Lead initiatives to optimize Neo4j performance by applying advanced querying, indexing, and graph‑modeling best practices to ensure fast and reliable database operations.
• Additionally, provide technical leadership and mentorship to backend developers, fostering a culture of strong engineering principles, collaboration, and continuous learning within the team.

Profile:

• Experience: 7 to 10+ years
• Deep expertise in graph data platforms (Neo4j, OrientDB, JanusGraph, etc.) and strong working knowledge of relational and NoSQL systems, with the ability to model, analyze, and integrate complex enterprise datasets in alignment with CAST’s application intelligence and software analysis capabilities.
• Extensive experience with major cloud providers (AWS, Azure, GCP), including hands‑on understanding of their data ecosystems, migration patterns, and GTM strategies relevant to CAST’s architecture, modernization, and code‑analysis solutions.
• Familiarity with data visualization frameworks (D3.js, Sigma.js, Linkurious, etc.) to represent application structures, dependency graphs, and architecture insights surfaced by CAST platforms.
• Experience in LLM fine‑tuning, prompt engineering, or AI solution integration with enterprise applications.
• Strong communication and presentation skills, capable of translating complex architectural concepts for technical teams, enterprise architects, full stack developers, and strategic partners.
• Mentor and guide data engineers across varying experience levels, conducting design and code reviews with a focus on architectural integrity, performance, scalability, and adherence to CAST’s best practices. Provide clear, constructive, and timely feedback on code quality, design decisions, and technology choices to ensure high‑quality implementations aligned with CAST’s Imaging intelligence and modernization objectives.
• Proven ability to operate in high‑velocity, customer‑focused environments, effectively managing multiple engagements.
