Job summary

SpectraMedix in India invites a seasoned Technical Lead to drive design and development of scalable web applications, guiding cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment. You will mentor engineers, shape architecture decisions, and ensure delivery excellence across projects.

Based in Gurgaon or Hyderabad (Hybrid), you will collaborate with US clients and stakeholders, apply best practices in SDLC, and own critical DLC processes from design reviews to deployment and support.

Qualifications

• 8–11 years of SDLC experience with Agile/Scrum.
• Strong Java fundamentals: OOP, multithreading, collections, exceptions and debugging.
• Hands-on Java with Spring MVC, Spring Boot and Spring Security.
• Experience with JavaScript frameworks (AngularJS/ReactJS/Ext.JS).
• SQL Server experience (DDL/DML).
• Knowledge of Microservices Architecture and RESTful services.
• Unit testing with JUnit.
• Knowledge of design principles and patterns.
• Exposure to Agile/Scrum and TDD.
• Strong code review and debugging skills.
• Performance tuning for SQL, Java and design; understanding NFRs.
• HLD/LLD experience is a must.

What are we looking for

We are looking for a seasoned Technical Lead with extensive experience in designing and developing scalable software solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership abilities, excellent problem-solving skills, and expertise in guiding teams through complex technical challenges. A deep understanding of both frontend and backend technologies, combined with a passion for mentoring and driving innovation, is essential to excel in this role.

Location: Gurgaon/Hyderabad (Hybrid)

Roles & Responsibilities

• As a Technical Lead, he/she will be a part of a team of hardworking people responsible for creating and maintaining a suite of cutting-edge web applications, and client applications in a fast-paced results-oriented environment.
• The Technical Lead utilizes their Design and Architecture knowledge coupled with Java and Server-side Engineering and Web Development experience in understanding the constraints and needs of the business to elevate the quality of the output of the entire team over time
• The incumbent will lead by example, prioritize quality, and help define design for the full suite of applications
• The incumbent will own the DLC engineering processes including (but not limited to) SRS, Design and design review, Solution, Coding, Code review, Unit testing, Integration testing, Delivery on lower and higher env and support to other teams like QA, Prod support, etc
• The incumbent will be expected to engage in product discussions and collaborate with multiple stakeholders across the project

Required Experience

• 8-11 years of experience in SDLC. Agile (Scrum) is a must have.
• Strong exp. on core java concepts like oops, multithreading, collections & exception handling with hands on knowledge of debugging skills and excellent coding practices
• Must have strong hands-on experience with Java and Spring MVC, Spring Boot, Spring Security
• Good hands-on experience in any JavaScript framework, be it AngularJS/ReactJS/Ext.JS etc.
• Good experience in SQL server. (DDL and DML)
• Expertise knowledge of Microservices Architecture and Web services/RESTful
• Good experience with Unit Testing processes and tools (JUnit)
• Hands-on experience with Design Principles, Patterns and architectural styles
• Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodology and TDD (Test Driven Development)
• Excellent code review & debugging/troubleshooting skills.
• Should have knowledge of performance tuning of the application for SQL, Java code and design.
• Should have basic understanding of the NFRs and its applicability
• HLD/LLD is a must.

Non-Technical / Behavioural competencies required

• Must have worked with US based clients in onsite/off shore delivery model
• Strong verbal and written communication, technical articulation, listening, and presentation skills are essential
• Should have proven analytical and problem-solving skills
• Demonstrated expertise in prioritization, time management, and stakeholder management (both internal and external) is necessary
• Should be a quick learner, self-starter, proactive, and an effective team player
• Must have experience working under tight deadlines within a matrix organizational structure
