Job summary

HCLTech is seeking an ETL Technical Lead to manage technology in projects and provide technical guidance and solutions for work completion. You will lead a team, define best practices, and ensure quality delivery across ETL initiatives.

The role requires hands-on expertise with ETL tools, Informatica, DataStage, Oracle DB, and MongoDB, with strong communication and leadership skills to guide the team day-to-day.

Qualifications

• Experience with ETL tools and data integration across complex data sources.
• Ability to design, develop, and optimize ETL processes and data pipelines.
• Strong knowledge of data warehousing concepts and performance tuning.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical guidance and solutions; define, advocate, and implement best practices and coding standards for the team.
• Develop and guide team members to enhance technical capabilities and productivity.
• Ensure process compliance within modules; participate in technical discussions/reviews as a consultant for feasibility, alternatives, and risks.
• Prepare and submit status reports to minimize exposure and risks and to close escalations.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define technical requirements and deliver robust ETL solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• To be responsible for providing technical guidance / solutions ;define, advocate, and implement best practices and coding standards for the team.
• To develop and guide the team members in enhancing their technical capabilities and increasing productivity
• To ensure process compliance in the assigned module| and participate in technical discussions/review as a technical consultant for feasibility study (technical alternatives, best packages, supporting architecture best practices, technical risks, breakdown into components, estimations).
• To prepare and submit status reports for minimizing exposure and risks on the project or closure of escalations.
