Job summary

Aptiv Bengaluru is hiring a Technical Lead - Embedded Software (ADAS Radar) to steer development and integration of embedded software for next‑gen RADAR products. You will provide technical leadership across architecture, design, implementation, integration, and validation with global teams.

Required: 8–12 years in Automotive Embedded Software, strong C/C++, AUTOSAR, OS know‑how, and experience leading technical deliverables. Familiarity with ASPICE, Agile, and software quality tools is a plus.

Qualifications

• 8–12 years of experience in Automotive Embedded Software Development
• Experience leading technical deliverables and engineering teams
• Strong expertise in Embedded Software Development, AUTOSAR, Multicore OS, and C/C++ programming
• Hands-on with VxWorks, Linux/QNX, Ethernet, and automotive platforms such as Aurix, S32, or TDA4
• Familiar with ASPICE, Agile methodologies, software architecture, integration, and release management
• Experience with software quality tools (VectorCAST, Polarion, Jira, Enterprise Architect, Plastic SCM)
• Functional Safety (ISO 26262), Cyber Security, and ADAS/Radar domain exposure preferred

Responsibilities

• Lead algorithm and feature integration in embedded RADAR platforms.
• Manage all SDLC phases: requirements, design, coding, testing, integration, and defect resolution.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to engineers across the team.
• Lead debugging and root cause analysis for customer and internal issues.
• Collaborate with global stakeholders to deliver robust automotive software solutions.

YOUR ROLE

As a Technical Lead - Embedded Software (ADAS Radar), you will lead the development and integration of embedded software for next-generation RADAR products. You will provide technical leadership across software architecture, design, implementation, integration, and validation activities while collaborating with global cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality automotive software solutions.

• Lead algorithm and feature integration activities in embedded environments for RADAR platforms.
• Drive all phases of the software development lifecycle, including requirements analysis, software design, coding, unit testing, software integration, and defect resolution.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to software engineers while ensuring adherence to development processes and quality standards.
• Lead debugging and root cause analysis of customer-reported and internally identified software issues using industry-standard development and debugging tools.
• Collaborate with global stakeholders and cross-functional teams to deliver innovative and robust automotive software solutions.

YOUR BACKGROUND

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation Engineering, or a related discipline.
• 8-12 years of experience in Automotive Embedded Software Development, including experience leading technical deliverables and engineering teams.
• Strong expertise in Embedded Software Development, AUTOSAR, Multicore OS, and C/C++ programming.
• Hands-on experience with VxWorks, Linux/QNX architecture, Ethernet, and automotive platforms such as Aurix, S32, or TDA4.
• Strong understanding of ASPICE, Agile methodologies, software architecture, integration, and release management.
• Experience with VectorCAST, Polarion, Jira, Enterprise Architect, Plastic SCM, configuration management, and software quality processes.
• Functional Safety (ISO 26262), Cyber Security, and ADAS/Radar domain experience will be highly preferred.
