Job summary

You will own the architecture of IoT Edge and embedded software, lead design reviews, mentor engineers, and translate business needs into robust, scalable solutions. The role requires hands-on development across Go, C/C++, Python, and Linux, with CI/CD and cloud awareness.

Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in Go, C/C++, Python, Linux Application development.
• Experience using AI-assisted coding tools such as Cursor or similar developer productivity tools.
• Strong experience with Linux-based embedded development.
• ARM and AMD processor architectures.
• Multi-threaded and concurrent application design.
• Hands-on experience with MQTT, Sparkplug B, JSON message structures and APIs.
• Familiarity with industrial communication protocols: Modbus (preferred).
• Experience with CircleCI, CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing frameworks.
• Experience with software packaging, deployment, remote device management, fleet monitoring, and Canonical Snap package management.
• Experience in IoT, Edge Computing, Building Automation, Industrial Automation, or HVAC domains.
• Familiarity with container technologies (Docker/Podman).
• Understanding of cybersecurity practices for embedded devices.
• Experience with cloud integration (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Knowledge of telemetry, diagnostics, and remote software update mechanisms.
