Job summary

Allianz Technology seeks an experienced Cloud Platform Engineer to own end-to-end cloud infrastructure across multi-cloud environments in India. The role emphasizes CI/CD, security, and cost governance, with hands-on leadership across teams.

You will design scalable architectures, automate deployments, and align cloud usage with business goals, while maintaining strong collaboration with global stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Experience owning end-to-end cloud and CI/CD pipelines.

• Proven FinOps execution and cloud financial management.

Job description

Experience

• Proficiency in Microsoft Azure and AWS Cloud environments.


• Provision, manage, and scale cloud infrastructure using tools like Terraform, Ansible, or AWS CloudFormation


• Proven track record of managing stable enterprise networks and systems


• Design, build, and maintain continuous integration and continuous deployment pipelines (using tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or ArgoCD).


• Set up logging, metrics, and alerting frameworks (such as Prometheus, Grafana, or Dynatrace) to track system health


• Integrate security scanning, secret management, and access controls into the deployment pipeline. In accordance with Allianz standard security requirements.


• Troubleshoot errors, investigate pipeline failures, and perform root cause analysis (RCA) Internal Internal


• Proven track record in FinOps execution and cloud financial management


• Tracking software performance, fixing errors, troubleshooting systems, implementing preventive measures for smooth workflows, and building automated processes


• Builds a core understanding of relational database management systems (RDBMS)


• Managing, upgrading, and securing multi-cloud or hybrid Kubernetes clusters


• Workload & Ingress Management: Configuring networking, CoreDNS, Ingress/Gateway API controllers, and Network Policies


• Security & Access Control: Implementing Role-Based Access Control (RBAC), pod security standards, and workload identity (e.g., IRSA or GKE Workload Identity).

Skills Required

• Full-lifecycle ownership: The development team maintains end-to-end accountability for code, from creation to production operations.


• Takes ownership and challenges conventional thinking .


• Adopting a strategic, long-term approach to resolve this complex challenge .


• Driven by curiosity to master unfamiliar tools through self-learning and mentoring the team.


• Active team collaboration accelerates issues resolution and speeds up onboarding.


• Optimizing system health by systematically tracking bugs and performance issues.


• Fluently in English (written and spoken), other languages is a plus.


• Overseeing global operations and building strategic international customer relationships.


• Maintain up-to-date documentation to ensure seamless knowledge transfer and improve customer’s support.


• Dedicated to customer satisfaction while consistently exceeding KPI and SLA targets.
