Job summary

IRT Digital Analytics Solutions in Mumbai is seeking a Lead - Data Engineering to guide a technical team and drive data platform initiatives.

You will partner with data owners and engineering teams to implement robust data pipelines, data models, and governance, while applying CI/CD and best practices.

This role requires hands-on cloud experience and strong leadership to deliver large-scale analytics projects.

Qualifications

• 6+ years hands-on experience on cloud data platforms.
• Proven hands-on data engineering with large-scale projects in agile environments.
• Deep experience with Databricks architecture.
• Experience data lakes and warehouses on cloud/on-premises, ETL and analytics.

Role: Lead - Data Engineering

JobResponsibilities:

• Manage a technical team, mentoring them,providingtechnical guidance, measuringperformanceand helping in their career growth.
• As a leader of Data platform / technology, providing guidance on complex technical challenges and driving resolution, ensuring solutions align with companys engineering and data principles, and technical policies.
• Partnering with data owners, engineering and platform teams toestablishrobust data pipelines, implement data models, and ensure seamless integration across diverse systems and domains.
• Implementingbest practices in software / data engineering, automated code reviews, testing, and continuous integration/continuous delivery.
• Work closely with business ownersto understand requirements and implement technical solutions with engineering best practices.

Job Requirements:

• 6+ years of hands-on experience developing solutions on Cloud data platform, including Databricks, Azure Synapse, MS Fabrics & ADF.
• Proven experience as a hands-on data engineer, with a strong focus on delivering large-scale projects in an agile environment.
• Hands-on experience in Databricks and deep understanding of its architecture.
• Hands-on experience developing and supporting data lakes,warehouseson-premisesand on cloud, ETL solutions and other analytics solutions.
• Experience with data lifecycle management, including ingestion, ETL, pruning, modelling, and governance, within highly regulated environments
• Experience working with development / engineering teams in a global environment.
