• Intermediate/advanced level (4+ years of experience in cloud engineering)
• Strong, demonstrated experience with the AWS ecosystem (EC2, S3, Lambda, ECS/EKS, IAM, VPC, CloudFormation, etc.)
• Proficiency with infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, CloudFormation or CDK)
• Experience with containerisation and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes, ECS/EKS)
• Solid scripting and automation skills (Python, Bash or similar)
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
• Experience with monitoring and observability tools (e.g., CloudWatch, Datadog, Grafana)
• Able to navigate a complex, multi-service AWS environment confidently
• Proactive, strong problem‑solving skills, good communicator
• Experience with data product teams and working closely with data engineers, data scientists, or similar roles
• Willingness to contribute to workstreams beyond cloud engineering, e.g., development of data pipelines
• Experience with the CAP platform (VW-specific) is a plus
