Job summary

Happiest Minds Technologies in Bengaluru seeks an accomplished Cloud/DevOps Engineer to architect and operate Kubernetes-based platforms across AWS, Azure, and GCP. You will implement Helm/Kustomize-based workloads, automate infrastructure with Terraform, and build robust CI/CD pipelines for containerized apps.

You will drive security as code, governance, and incident response, while mentoring peers and delivering scalable cloud-native solutions in a fast-paced, multi-cloud environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or related field.
• Fluent in English.
• 9+ years of hands-on experience designing and operating cloud solutions on AWS, Azure, and GCP.
• Deep hands-on Kubernetes experience (AKS, EKS, GKE) including cluster lifecycle, networking, storage, and security.
• Advanced Terraform experience, building reusable modules and multi-cloud provisioning.
• Hands-on CI/CD experience with GitHub Actions, Azure Pipelines, and container-focused delivery pipelines.
• Strong scripting experience with PowerShell, Bash, Ansible, Chef, or Puppet.
• Solid Linux fundamentals and container runtime knowledge.
• Good understanding of programming languages such as Python.
• Hands-on experience with Databricks and cloud-native data engineering environments.
• Excellent troubleshooting skills across Kubernetes, cloud infrastructure, and distributed systems.

Responsibilities

• Hands-on design, implementation, and operation of Kubernetes clusters across AKS/EKS/GKE, including upgrades, scaling, and networking.
• Deploy and manage containerized workloads with Helm, Kustomize, operators, service mesh, ingress, and autoscaling.
• Develop and maintain Terraform modules for Kubernetes clusters and cloud resources.
• Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Azure Pipelines) for containerized apps and GitOps workflows.
• Implement Kubernetes-native automation: admission controllers, policy engines, remediation, and governance.
• Define and enforce DevOps processes for build, test, release, and production in a Kubernetes-first environment.
• Lead hands-on incident management and root-cause analysis for cluster/workload issues and cloud incidents.
• Onboard workloads to Kubernetes with pod design, capacity planning, and performance tuning.
• Manage cloud infra for Kubernetes: VPC/VNet design, load balancers, storage, registries, identity, secrets, observability stacks.
• Implement security as code across clusters: RBAC, Pod Security Standards, network policies, image scanning, compliance automation, secret management.
• Mentor engineers through guidance, code reviews, architecture reviews, and troubleshooting sessions.
• Support data workloads, including Databricks deployments integrated with cloud and Kubernetes environments.
