Job summary

Birlasoft in INDIA/HYDERABAD is seeking a Technical Lead-App Development to drive enterprise web apps using J2EE, React.js, Spring Boot, and cloud tech. You will lead MFE modules and REST APIs, deliver bug fixes and production support, and guide teams across legacy and modern systems.

You will mentor peers, participate in code reviews, and ensure timely delivery while maintaining high quality and scalable architecture. Strong communication is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 10+ years production monitoring experience within Java Web/Enterprise projects.
• Experience with Spring / Spring Boot / Cloud technologies.
• Experience with Java EE, Maven.
• Strong troubleshooting skills in JavaScript object model; deep knowledge of React.js.
• Experience with React.js workflows (Flux/Redux) and Spring ecosystems.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain reusable React.js components, MFE modules, REST APIs, and microservices following scalable architecture.
• Provide hands-on technical leadership for bug fixes, enhancements, and production support across modern and legacy systems.
• Analyze legacy code, perform root-cause analysis, and implement fixes without impacting existing functionality.
• Collaborate with QA, Product, DevOps, Architects, and business teams to deliver enhancements on schedule.
• Perform code reviews, design reviews, debugging, performance optimization, and testing.
• Support modernization toward MFE/full-stack architecture and refactor legacy components.
• Troubleshoot production incidents, API issues, performance problems, and deployment-related issues.
• Mentor developers with guidance on React.js, MFE, and legacy support; maintain runbooks.
• Maintain technical documentation and RCA reports.

• Hands on enterprise level J2EE based web application development and support
• Hands on experience in React JS, Spring / Spring Boot / Cloud technologies
• Experience on Pivotal Cloud Foundry (PCF) environment
• Experience in troubleshooting and debugging skills.
• Experience in support role with numerous B2B(business to business) functions such as production monitoring of data, error analysis, client correspondence(both electronic and phone) as well as deep dive investigation of issues stemming from failures.
• Ability to lead team.
• Experience in offshore production monitoring management model
• Provide guidance, assistance and mentoring support to junior team members
• Maintain ownership of issues until resolution, drive other teams as needed, set customer expectations accordingly.

• Perform code reviews, technical design reviews, debugging, performance optimization, and unit/integration testing.
• Support application modernization by identifying opportunities to refactor legacy components and migrate functionality toward MFE/full‑stack architecture.
• Troubleshoot production incidents, integration/API issues, performance problems, and deployment‑related issues, ensuring timely resolution.
• Mentor developers and provide technical guidance on React.js, MFE, full‑stack development, debugging, and legacy application support.
• Maintain technical documentation, troubleshooting guides, RCA reports, and application support/runbooks.

Technical Skills:

• Minimum of 10+ years production monitoring experience within Java Web/Enterprise projects;
• Experience with Spring / Spring Boot / Cloud technologies
• Experience with Java EE, Maven;
• Strong experience in troubleshooting skills of JavaScript object model Through understanding of React.js and its core principles.
• Experience with popular React.js workflows (such as Flux or Redux).
• Experience with Spring and other Java frameworks / open source libraries;
• Experience with Spring Security and SSO solutions;
• Experience with SOA and Web Services (REST/SOAP);
• Experience with database applications such as Oracle, MySql and ORM tools;
• Experience providing sizing and scalability recommendations and solving connectivity and deployment issues;
• Experience using kanban methodology and production support ticket based model.
