We are hiring a highly skilled Technical Lead to join a fast‑paced, AI incubation initiative focused on building next‑generation intelligent systems and agentic AI capabilities.

This is a high‑impact opportunity for someone who enjoys operating at the intersection of software engineering, architecture, and applied AI. The role requires a hands‑on technical leader who can drive system design, mentor engineers, and actively contribute to the development of scalable AI‑powered products under ambitious timelines.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Lead the architecture and technical direction of a strategic AI‑driven product initiative
• Design and build scalable backend services and distributed systems using Java/Spring technologies
• Collaborate closely with product, engineering, and leadership stakeholders to translate business problems into AI‑enabled solutions
• Drive the development of agentic AI workflows, including planning, orchestration, execution loops, and evaluation mechanisms
• Work hands‑on across both backend and frontend systems where required
• Evaluate and integrate LLMs based on use case suitability, performance, latency, and cost considerations
• Implement prompt engineering strategies and optimize model parameters such as temperature, top‑p, and context handling
• Build reliable and cost‑efficient LLM‑powered applications with strong attention to token optimization and scalability
• Contribute to AI system evaluation frameworks including usefulness, groundedness, consistency, and accuracy assessments
• Guide engineering best practices, technical decision‑making, and mentoring within the team
• Operate effectively in a high‑ownership, fast‑moving environment with aggressive delivery timelines

What We’re Looking For

• 7+ years of software engineering experience with strong exposure to system design and architecture
• Proven experience leading or owning technical delivery for complex applications or platforms
• Strong hands‑on experience with Java and Spring/Spring Boot ecosystems
• Full‑stack engineering exposure with the ability to contribute across frontend and backend when needed
• Practical experience working on AI/LLM‑based projects over the last 2+ years
• Strong understanding of modern LLM ecosystems including models from OpenAI, Anthropic, and similar providers
• Experience with prompt engineering and tuning model behavior for production use cases
• Familiarity with agentic AI concepts such as task decomposition, execution workflows, planning systems, feedback loops, and LLM‑as‑judge patterns
• Understanding of context window management, token efficiency, and cost optimization strategies
• Strong communication skills with the ability to work directly with senior leadership and cross‑functional stakeholders
• Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, high‑visibility environment

Nice to Have

• Experience with Spring AI
• Exposure to RAG architectures and vector databases/retrieval systems
• Experience building AI copilots, autonomous workflows, or internal AI productivity tools
• Prior startup or incubation environment experience
