Job summary

HL Klemove Tech Centre India is seeking an experienced embedded software professional in Bengaluru to lead ADAS development projects within automotive embedded systems. You will collaborate with Korean and Indian OEM teams, drive design and integration of AUTOSAR software components, and mentor junior engineers.

The role focuses on board bring-up, SoC/SiP integration, and ensuring robust, fail-safe software using AUTOSAR architectures.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in ADAS and automotive embedded systems.
• Strong understanding of AUTOSAR layered architecture and RTE/ASW.
• Expertise in hardware-software integration and debugging.
• Experience with automotive development tools and SDLC.

Responsibilities

Role & responsibilities

• Analyze customer requirement specifications to understand technical, functional, and project requirements, ensuring accurate interpretation and implementation.
• Act as the primary point of contact for customers, including Korean and Indian OEMs, to manage technical discussions, requirement clarifications, and project coordination.
• Provide technical guidance, mentoring, and problem-solving support to team members to ensure effective execution of project activities.
• Review technical work products and deliverables to ensure compliance with customer requirements, quality standards, and project timelines.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to resolve technical issues and ensure seamless communication between internal stakeholders and customers.
• Monitor project progress, identify technical risks, and drive timely resolution to ensure successful project execution.
• Ensure adherence to organizational processes, engineering standards, and customer-specific quality requirements throughout the project lifecycle.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities to enhance technical processes, quality, and team productivity

Preferred candidate profile

• Strong experience in ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) development with a solid understanding of automotive embedded systems.
• Good knowledge of software design principles and architecture methodologies, with the ability to design scalable and robust embedded software solutions.
• Hands-on experience in Board Bring-up activities and SoC/SiP integration, including hardware-software integration and debugging.
• Strong understanding of AUTOSAR layered architecture, including Classic AUTOSAR concepts and software component integration.
• Experience working with AUTOSAR Runtime Environment (RTE) and Application Software (ASW) development, with exposure to Fail-safe implementations.
• Good knowledge of AUTOSAR Memory Stack, Diagnostics Stack, and CAN Communication Stack, including configuration and integration.
• Proficiency in automotive development and debugging tools such as Trace32, EB tresos Studio, Vector DaVinci Configurator, CANoe, JIRA, Confluence, and Git.
• Strong debugging and analytical skills with the ability to identify and resolve complex embedded software issues.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional and global teams.
• Familiarity with the Automotive V-Model, software development lifecycle, and functional safety practices is an added advantage.
