Job summary

Responsibilities

• Design and implementation of application SW components and functions for real-time embedded systems.
• Analysis and breakdown of customer requirements and specifications to System/Function and SW level.
• Development of System/Function Design.
• Development of SW Requirements Specification for function and allocation to the component.
• Development of SW components mainly using C.
• Development of component tests.
• Integration of the components to create a fully functional SW package.
• Integrating third party solutions into the system.
• Collaboration with internal and external partners such as other SW developers, test department, and customer team.

Qualifications

• 5 to 8 years of experience in development of embedded C software.
• Experience in static code analysis such as MISRA C/C++.
• Understanding of AUTOSAR layered SW architecture and related model elements (events, runnable, parameters, data type and interface modelling, etc).
• Good knowledge of software and application design and design patterns.
• Experience in unit testing and component testing.
• Experience with at least one embedded compiler (e.g., GHS, tasking).
• Experience with debugging tools such as Lauterbach/Trace32.
• Understanding of embedded concepts (e.g., HW/SW interfacing, drivers, RTOS).
• Knowledge of operating systems applied in embedded systems.
• Experience in configuration and version management tools (SVN, Git).

Good to Have

• Exposure to handling AUTOSAR stacks.
• Understanding of UML.
• Understanding of automotive protocols like LIN and CAN, and experience with requirement management tools such as DOORS.
• Hands-on experience with modelling tools like Rhapsody and Enterprise Architect.
