Job summary

Airbus India Pvt. Ltd. is seeking a qualified professional for the Technical Data Wiring domain to develop and maintain aircraft maintenance documentation. The role focuses on ensuring safety, accuracy and adherence to airworthiness requirements across the aircraft life cycle.

You will author AWL/AWL2 materials, coordinate with Design Office and DO Contributions, and provide timely support to airlines, MROs and customers under tight schedules.

Qualifications

• AME degree or aeronautical/engineering degree with knowledge of aircraft maintenance.
• 4–8 years experience in the Technical Data Wiring domain.
• English Advanced level is mandatory.
• Knowledge of Aircraft Wiring, Aircraft Systems and maintenance.
• Experience with Technical Data authoring in AWL/AWL2.

Responsibilities

• Perform PreAnalysis Round Table for wiring and assess design inputs that drive aircraft evolution.
• Conduct Source Data Request (SDR) analysis for new programs.
• Work on AWL/AWL2 manuals with authoring under defined standards.

There is an opportunity in Airbus Customer Services to join the Operational Unit "Technical Data Support and Services", which works towards developing and delivering aircraft maintenance documentation, to enable the safe and efficient accomplishment of maintenance operations by the customers (airlines, MRO, lessors). The products developed are AWM (Aircraft Wiring Manual) ASM (Aircraft Schematic Manual) AMM (Aircraft Maintenance Manual), TSM (Troubleshooting Manual), IPC (Illustrated Part Catalogue). To deliver the complete documentation at aircraft entry into service and to maintain it throughout the aircraft life cycle is our main mission, and is part of the airworthiness requirements. The main challenge is to define precisely the consequences of the design changes on the already published documentation and to understand the immediate impact on Customers operations, with the objective to provide customised documentation in accordance with aircraft configuration.

Main Responsibilities

• Able to perform PreAnalysis Round Table for wiring - Assessment of aircraft design inputs (Mod & Mod Proposal, Service Bulletin, …) that drive aircraft evolution in order to detect the impacts in the technical documentation.
• Source Data Request (SDR) analysis for all programs when getting a new SDR.
• Able to work on AWL and AWL2 manuals by performing a minimum level of authoring.
• Writing of Technical Data Authoring activities of a Manual (AWL/AWL2) in accordance with specifications and quality standards, contractual commitments, configuration management rules, approved schedules, quality standards.
• Be open to proposing ideas & adapting digital evolutions in the Technical Data Wiring domain.
• Active contribution to Digitization is expected.
• Answer to customer questions for complex queries relative to his/her scope of activities.
• The jobholder will be responsible for providing efficient support to the customer, sometimes under high time pressure (following AOG…).
• He/she will guarantee accurate and on time correction of Technical Data deliverables.
• Ensure and maintain compliance with EASA/FAA regulations (ICA process) and EN9100 for their own technical scope and perimeter of responsibility.
• Manage all potential impacts of a criteria under the responsibility of ATA Systems Technical Steering and Monitoring with Design Office(DO) for SDR’s and DO Contributions.
• Responsible to ensure the delivery of manual content in accordance with specifications on time, on quality and within budget objectives.
• Proactive identification, mitigation and follow up of blocking points as well as constant assessment of your manual content in terms of quality assurance.
• Act as an interface between technical data, the airline customers and all the other Airbus internal contributors (Design Office, Programs, Delivery Center, other Customer Services units, etc.)
• Working with and supporting other local line teams.

Qualifications

Aircraft Maintenance Engineering (AME) degree or Aeronautical / other Engineering Degree with knowledge/exposure to Aircraft Maintenance domain. 4~8 years experience in the Technical Data Wiring domain.
