Job summary

You will manage batch processes, collaborate with DevOps, Support, Product, and Customer teams, and develop automation scripts to deliver a scalable solution environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations Research, Statistics, or related field.
• Master's degree preferred.
• 1-5 years of relevant experience in technical consulting, support, or similar roles.

Responsibilities

• Ensure timely response, recovery, and resolution of batch automation disruptions while meeting customer SLAs.
• Monitor and maintain smooth operations of o9's cloud-based platform.
• Troubleshoot and resolve system issues with DevOps and Support teams.
• Validate, transform, and manage customer data using SQL, SSIS, Excel, NiFi, Hadoop, PySpark, Hive.
• Analyze customer data, understand dependencies, and ensure data integrity.
• Support CI/CD processes and improve system reliability.
• Monitor and analyze system performance metrics for continuous improvement.
• Develop automation scripts using Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
• Understand and work with o9 platform data models and relationships.
• Fine-tune performance and automate manual processes.
• Create and execute integration test cases; track and resolve bugs.

About the role…

We are looking for a highly motivated and technically strong Technical Consultant – Client Success to join our team. In this role, you will support o9 customers post-implementation, ensuring seamless platform operations, strong customer outcomes, and high system reliability.

You will play a critical role in managing automated batch processes, troubleshooting issues, and collaborating across Support, DevOps, Product, and Customer teams to deliver a stable and scalable solution environment.

What you will do in this role:

• Ensure timely response, recovery, and resolution of batch automation disruptions while meeting customer SLAs
• Monitor and maintain smooth operations of o9's cloud-based platform
• Work closely with DevOps and Support teams to troubleshoot and resolve system issues
• Validate, transform, and manage customer data using tools like SQL, SSIS, Excel, Apache NiFi, Hadoop, PySpark, and Hive
• Analyze customer data, understand functional/technical dependencies, and ensure data integrity
• Support CI/CD processes and improve system reliability
• Monitor and analyze system performance metrics for continuous improvement
• Develop automation scripts using Python, Bash, or PowerShell
• Understand and work with o9 platform data models (tables, relationships, optimization structures)
• Fine-tune performance, automate manual processes, and implement system checks
• Create and execute integration test cases; track and resolve bugs/issues

What you'll have…

• 1-5 years of relevant experience in technical consulting, support, or similar roles
• Strong proficiency in Python and SQL
• Hands-on experience with ETL tools like SSIS
• Experience with scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell
• Exposure to cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud (preferred)
• Experience with planning tools such as SAP, Oracle, e2open, Kinaxis, JDA (preferred)
• Knowledge of data processing tools like Hadoop, PySpark, Hive (preferred)
• Familiarity with statistical/optimization tools (R/Python/JavaScript) is a plus
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills
• Ability to take ownership and work independently with minimal supervision
• Good understanding of system performance tuning and automation

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations Research, Statistics, or a related quantitative field
• Master's degree (preferred)
