FHLB Des Moines is seeking an experienced SAP BASIS Consultant with 8-10 years of hands-on SAP technical administration and cloud transformation expertise. The role focuses on RISE with SAP Private Cloud Edition, SAP BTP, SAP Cloud ALM, and SAP SaaS integrations.

You will manage SAP landscapes, ensure system availability, and collaborate across global teams. You will drive technical implementations, perform system installs, upgrades, migrations, and health monitoring, while coordinating with SAP

• Configure and administer SAP BTP subaccounts and services; enable integrations.
• Implement SAP Cloud ALM monitoring and project management.

PurposeWe are seeking an experienced SAP BASIS Consultant with 8-10 years of hands-on experience in SAP technical administration, cloud transformations, and SAP platform operations. The ideal candidate should possess strong expertise in RISE with SAP Private Cloud Edition, SAP BTP, SAP Cloud ALM, and SAP SaaS solutions, along with a proven track record of delivering multiple SAP implementation and transformation projects.The candidate will be responsible for managing SAP landscapes, supporting cloud-based SAP environments, driving technical implementations, ensuring system availability, and collaborating with cross-functional teams throughout the project lifecycle.Key Duties and Responsibilities• SAP BASIS Administration• Administer and support SAP landscapes including S/4HANA, ECC, BW, PI/PO, Fiori, Solution Manager, and cloud-integrated environments.• Perform system installations, upgrades, migrations, refreshes, patching, kernel upgrades, and system copies.• Monitor system health, performance, availability, and capacity planning.• RISE with SAP Private Cloud Edition• Coordinate and manage BASIS activities within RISE landscapes.• Work closely with SAP ECS/SAP Operations teams for infrastructure, maintenance planning, incident resolution, and release management.• Support cloud transformation and migration initiatives to SAP S/4HANA under RISE engagements.• SAP BTP• Configure and administer SAP BTP subaccounts and services.• Support BTP integrations, connectivity, Identity Authentication Service (IAS), Identity Provisioning Service (IPS), and Cloud Connector.• Work with development and integration teams to enable extension and integration scenarios.• SAP Cloud ALM• Implement and manage SAP Cloud ALM for:• Business Process Monitoring• Integration Monitoring• Health Monitoring• Job Monitoring• Project & Implementation Management• Define monitoring strategies and dashboards for SAP landscapes.• SAP SaaS Products• Support integration and connectivity between SAP SaaS applications and core SAP landscapes.• Coordinate tenant administration, SSO configurations, certificate management, and interface monitoring.• Work with functional and integration teams during implementation and support engagements.• Implementation & Transformation Projects• Participate in end-to-end SAP implementation projects.• Lead BASIS activities during project phases including:• System provisioning• Landscape design• Migration planning• Cutover activities• Go-live support• Hypercare support• Prepare and maintain technical documentation and operating procedures.IN ADDITION TO THE MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES LISTED ABOVE THE MANAGER IS ALLOWED TO USE DISCRETION TO ADD FURTHER DUTIES AND TASKS BASED ON THE BUSINESS NEEDS WHICH ARE NOT EXPLICITLY LISTED HERE.JOB REQUIREMENTSEducationBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related discipline.Experience• 8-10 years of SAP BASIS administration experience.• Minimum 2-3 end-to-end SAP implementation projects.• Hands-on experience with at least one RISE with SAP Private Cloud Edition implementation or migration project.• Strong experience in S/4HANA system administration.Other Attributes· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.· Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.· Ability to work in global delivery models.· Customer-focused and proactive approach.· Strong project execution and coordination capabilities.Physical RequirementsRemoteOccasionally travel as required.ADA Disclosure:The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
