Job summary

Laxmi Organic Industries Ltd in Dahej seeks a Technical Associate - Engineering (CPP) with 2–4 years of Diploma Chemical experience and a 1st Class Boiler Attendant Certificate to monitor and maintain the cogeneration plant.

You will operate AFBC boiler, turbine, cooling tower, DM plant, and pumps, ensuring boiler water chemistry, safe interlocks, and TPM/SAP-related tasks while coordinating with the shift team for smooth CPP operations.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Chemical Engineering with 1st Class Boiler Attendant Certificate.
• 2–4 years of hands-on experience in CPP/ cogeneration plants.
• Experience in operating AFBC boiler, turbine, and auxiliary systems.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and manage day-to-day CPP operations and utilities maintenance.
• Operate and maintain AFBC boiler, turbine, cooling tower, DM plant, pumps, and compressors.
• Control boiler water chemistry and ensure safety interlocks and CAPA implementation.
• Coordinate with operators and maintenance staff to maintain plant performance.
• Prepare work approvals for modifications and execute preventive maintenance.

Position description:

• Monitor and Responsible for day-today operations & maintenance of cogeneration plant.
• Hands on experience on Operation and maintenance of AFBC High pressure boiler, Bleed cum extraction cum condensing Turbine, Cooling tower, Coal handling plant, DM plant, Centrifugal Blower, Multistage Pumps, Compressor.
• Should know and able to control boiler water chemistry.
• Should aware about safety interlocks, efficiency, performance related to boiler and turbine.
• Able to handle trouble shooting
• Able to coordinate with boiler operator, Turbine operator, DM plant operator, Maintenance fitter to maintain cogeneration plant operation normal.
• Issue work approval for the modifications and execution of specific activities

Preparation and execution of preventive maintenance of utilities

Take appropriate actions on the problems arising in the shifts

Monitor the utility parameters

• Able to execute the projects regarding the CPP.
• Ensure to follow 100% safety norms to achieve zero breakdown
• To participate in Root Cause Analysis of Various safety and process safety incidents, Monitor and ensure implementation of CAPA
• Report any near miss/ incident or any non-compliance
• To Support Various Process safety and Responsible Care Initiatives
• Responsible to complete any other assignment given by the senior
• Should aware and able to do 5s, TPM corresponding activity,
• Should familiar with SAP system.
• Aware about IMS and able to fulfil the requirement corresponding documentation.
