TPF Software Inc. seeks a highly experienced Senior Java Engineer/Architect to design and build scalable, high‑performance systems for airline operations.

You will lead architecture, design and development of mission‑critical Java applications using microservices, Kubernetes and cloud platforms. The role requires hands‑on Java expertise (Java 17/21/25), strong OO design, DevOps practices, IaC (CloudFormation/Ansible) and CI/CD pipelines to deliver low‑latency, fault‑tolerant systems.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of hands-on Java development experience.
• Strong expertise in object-oriented design, SOLID principles, and design patterns.
• Proven experience building and scaling microservices architectures.
• Mandatory airline/aviation domain experience, including: Reservation systems, Ticketing workflows, Inventory management, PSS, DCS.
• Strong hands-on experience with Kubernetes for container orchestration.
• Experience with AWS and/or Azure cloud platforms.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools (CloudFormation, Ansible).
• Strong experience with CI/CD tools and pipelines.
• Expertise in building high-performance, scalable, and fault-tolerant systems.
• Solid experience with unit testing and integration testing frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Tighten integration with Passenger Service Systems (PSS), reservation and ticketing platforms, and DCS.

• Develop and optimize CI/CD pipelines for continuous integration and delivery.
• Ensure system reliability, observability, and performance tuning in production environments.
• Write and maintain high-quality, testable code with strong unit and integration test coverage.
• Mentor engineers and contribute to architectural governance and technical strategy.

Job description

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Java Engineer / Architect with 15+ years of experience in designing and building scalable, high-performance systems within the airline/aviation domain. This role requires deep expertise in Java (hands-on experience with Java 17, Java 21, or Java 25 is mandatory), microservices, cloud-native technologies, and strong domain knowledge of airline systems.

You will lead the architecture, design, and development of mission-critical, high-volume, low-latency applications that support core airline operations. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in building distributed systems using modern software engineering practices, leveraging Kubernetes, cloud platforms, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps methodologies to deliver highly available, secure, and resilient enterprise solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain high-volume, low-latency Java applications for mission-critical airline systems.
