The candidate will define technical architecture, mentor teams, drive modernization, and ensure security and governance compliance. Navi Mumbai-based, full-time, on-site role with banking domain exposure.

Role Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced Java Technical Architect to lead the design, architecture, and implementation of enterprise-scale banking applications for SBI. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in Java-based technologies, microservices architecture, cloud-native development, and enterprise integration patterns, along with strong banking domain exposure.

The candidate will be responsible for defining technical architecture, ensuring adherence to industry best practices, mentoring development teams, and driving technology transformation initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead architecture and design discussions for mission-critical banking applications.
• Define end-to-end solution architecture aligned with business and technology objectives.
• Design scalable, secure, highly available, and high-performance systems.
• Architect and implement Microservices-based solutions using Java technologies.

• Perform architecture reviews and code quality assessments.

• Knowledge of security standards and compliance requirements applicable to banking systems.

Education

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related discipline.
• Master's Degree is an added advantage.

• Experience in high-volume transaction processing systems.
• Ability to interact directly with customer leadership and business stakeholders.
