Job summary

jda in India is seeking an experienced software professional to lead customer project implementations from a technical perspective, collaborating with solution architects, product management, development, QA, TechOps and Production Support throughout the lifecycle.

The role requires deep hands-on full-stack skills with Java, Spring Boot, Oracle and React JS, plus strong experience in CI/CD, cloud familiarity (Azure/OCI), and the ability to document requirements, review designs, and drive

Qualifications

• BS/MS in Engineering, Computer Science, IT.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in software development and implementation.
• Strong analytical problem-solving skills.
• Strong OOP skills with knowledge of data structures & algorithms.
• Extensive Java knowledge and software design patterns.
• Hands-on full-stack development with Java, Spring Boot, Oracle, SQL, React JS.
• Experience with relational DBs (Oracle) and ORM; SQL, procedures, triggers, and tuning.
• Experience with SOAP, REST, JMS, EDI integration patterns.
• Experience writing build/deployment scripts (Ant).
• CI/CD experience and containerization (Jira, Git, Jenkins, Maven); cloud knowledge (Azure, OCI).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Systems implementation: requirements, design, configuration, testing, training, support.
• Experience with enterprise software vendors is a plus.
• Knowledge of supply chains, logistics, order management is a plus.
• Experience with ReactJS, EXTJS is a plus.

Scope:

• Collaborate closely with Solution Architects, Product Management, Product Development, QA, TechOps, and Production Support across all phases of the project. Lead customer project implementations from a technical perspective, working directly with customers throughout the implementation lifecycle to provide technical leadership, guidance, and expertise—ensuring successful delivery and alignment with business objectives.

What you’ll do:

What we are looking for:

• BS/MS in Engineering, Computer Science, Supply Chain, IT

• Minimum 8 years of experience in software development and implementation

• Strong analytical problem-solving skills

• Strong Object-Oriented Programming Skills. Good understanding of data structures and algorithms.

• Extensive knowledge of the Java programming language and good understanding of software design patterns

• Hands on expert in full stack development experience using any of the stackJava, Spring Boot, Spring, Oracle, SQL, React JS

• Experience with relational databases (preferably Oracle) and Object/Relational frameworks. Should be able to write SQL queries, procedures, triggers and do basic performance tuning.

• Experience with enterprise integration patterns & protocols, including SOAP, REST, JMS, EDI.

• Experience writing build & deployment scripts (e.g. Ant)

• Experience in leveraging continuous integration and robust build/test automation, with a preference for cross platform stacks and containerization (Jira, Git, Jenkins, Maven)

• Experience in one of the public cloud technology stacks such as Azure, OCI

• Excellent communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills

• Systems implementation skills: requirements/process analysis, conceptual and detailed design, configuration, testing, training, change management, support

• Prior experience in development or consulting with an enterprise software vendor is a plus.

• Functional knowledge of supply chains, logistics, order management, etc. is a plus

• Experience with newer web client technologies such as ReactJS, AJAX, EXTJS is a plus.
