Job summary

Tenerity is seeking an experienced .NET Architect (15+ years) to lead architecture for scalable, cloud-native enterprise applications. This hands-on IC role focuses on architecture, technical leadership, and AI-enabled engineering practices with hands-on AI-assisted tools like Cursor and GitHub Copilot.

Expect to drive microservices, API-first design, and modernize legacy systems while ensuring security, observability, and delivery velocity.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of experience in .NET Full Stack Engineering and Enterprise Architecture.
• Hands-on with ASP, ASP.NET, ASP.NET Core, .NET Core and MVC.
• Experience designing scalable Microservices and Distributed Systems.
• Cloud exposure across AWS (preferred), Azure or GCP.
• API-first design, RESTful services, and event-driven patterns.
• Experience building modern web apps with React/Next.js.
• Strong CI/CD, security, observability and integration patterns.
• Experience modernizing large enterprise applications with technical debt management.
• Familiar with AI-enabled engineering practices and AI-assisted tools.

Responsibilities

• Define architecture and technology direction for enterprise-grade apps.

• Guide design reviews, modernization, and cloud adoption programs.
• Collaborate with Product teams on PoCs and trade-offs.

About Role:

We're looking for an experienced .NET Architect (15+ Years) to lead the design and delivery of scalable, cloud-native enterprise applications. This is a hands-on Individual Contributor role focused on architecture, technical leadership, engineering excellence, and AI-Enabled Engineering Practices, with hands-on experience using AI-assisted development tools such as Cursor, GitHub Copilot, or similar platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Define technical architecture and technology direction for enterprise-grade applications
• Drive microservices, distributed systems, API-first, and event-driven architecture initiatives
• Lead design reviews, modernization programs, and cloud adoption strategies
• Partner with Product teams on feasibility assessments, PoCs, and technical trade-offs
• Champion security, observability, scalability, and engineering best practices
• Drive responsible adoption of AI-assisted development practices to improve quality and delivery velocity
• Remain hands-on with architecture, code reviews, troubleshooting, and critical solution design

Required qualifications

• 15+ years of experience in .NET Full Stack Engineering, Solution Design, and Enterprise Architecture.
• Hands-on expertise in Classic ASP, ASP.NET, ASP.NET Core, .NET Core, and MVC.
• Strong experience designing scalable Microservices and Distributed Systems architectures.
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS preferred; Azure or GCP also acceptable), including serverless computing technologies.
• Expertise in API-first design, RESTful services, and Event-Driven Architecture.
• Experience building modern web applications using React and/or Next.js.
• Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines, application security, observability, and enterprise integration patterns.
• Proven ability to identify, manage, and modernize technical debt across enterprise applications.
• Experience with AI-enabled engineering practices and hands-on use of AI-assisted development tools such as Cursor, GitHub Copilot, and Agentic AI solutions to improve engineering productivity.
