• Approach software and architecture pragmatically, understanding trade‑offs and evolving architecture over time.
• Be a full‑stack developer: UI, backend, database, CI/CD, cloud infrastructure, and IaC.

• Lead by example and mentor across teams to ensure success within their remit.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

• Hands‑on experience with .NET Core, React, SQL, and Azure.
• Proficiency in industry‑standard practices such as DDD, TDD, and deployment patterns (blue/green).
• Provide technical leadership, resolve technical queries, and enforce architectural principles and technical standards.
• Evaluate and improve common platform components to accelerate the programme.
• Participate actively in architectural governance forums such as the centre of excellence and technical guilds; enforce decisions within teams.
• Collaborate with the Group Director of Technology, Head of Technology, and fellow architects to influence and steer technical leads toward pragmatic decisions and communicate progress.
• Undertake R&D, prototype new approaches and technologies, and share knowledge across teams.
