Role Overview
We are looking for an Architect to strengthen and scale Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) capabilities within ACS GDC. This role will be part of the AEM Competency team driving technical excellence, innovation, and capability maturity across programs. The role is primarily focused on technical competency leadership — including architecture definition oversight, innovation across AEM (including Edge Delivery Services), and design of Agentic AI solutions across digital experience solutions, along with people leadership to build and mentor high‑performing teams.
Key Responsibilities
Technical Competency Leadership
- Define and drive the technical vision for Brand Visibility use cases leveraging Brand Concierge, LLM optimizer, and AEM Edge Delivery Services (EDS) for various customers.
- Provide technology leadership across complex engagements, interfacing with customers and engineering teams to solve business problems.
- Establish and standardize best practices, reusable frameworks, accelerators, and governance models.
- Provide architectural oversight across projects to ensure scalability, performance, and security.
- Drive consistency in architecture and delivery standards across multiple teams and engagements.
Innovation with GenAI & Agentic AI
- Design and deploy Agentic AI based use cases to enhance customer experience.
- Identify and build AI‑powered accelerators for content lifecycle, DAM, and customer journeys.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to embed AI into digital experience platforms.
Solutioning & Pre‑Sales Support
- Partner with sales and solution teams to support proposals and client presentations.
- Provide technical estimations, architecture blueprints, and capability showcases.
Capability Building
- Contribute to and evolve the competency roadmap for AEM and AI capabilities in alignment with organizational goals.
- Strengthen and scale existing Centers of Excellence (CoE) for AEM and AI‑driven digital experience solutions.
- Conduct internal trainings, workshops, and certification programs.
- Collaborate with peer competency managers to standardize best practices and reusable assets across programs.
Quality & Governance
- Establish coding standards, review mechanisms, and delivery governance.
- Ensure alignment with Adobe best practices and enterprise architecture standards.
People Leadership
- Lead, mentor, and grow a team of AEM developers, architects, and leads.
- Drive hiring strategy, onboarding, and capability development aligned with business needs.
- Conduct regular check‑ins, performance reviews, and career planning.
- Drive skill transformation of the team in line with evolving landscape.
- Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous learning.
- Act as an escalation point for delivery challenges and ensure successful outcomes.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Experience: 12+ years in digital experience platforms, with 4+ years of hands‑on experience in an Architect capacity for AEM/EDS solutions, Agentic and web development. Strong hands‑on expertise in JS, HTML, CSS.
AEM Expertise
- Deep experience in AEM Sites, Assets, Headless CMS and AEM as a Cloud Service.
- Exposure to AEM Edge Delivery Services (EDS) is highly preferred.
- AEM Architect certification preferred.
AI Skills
- Deep understanding and experience in designing and building Agentic AI systems.
- LLM Platforms – OpenAI, Claude models, etc.
- Agent Frameworks – LangGraph, LangChain, CreqAI, etc.
- AI architecture – Multi‑agent architecture, agent orchestration, memory systems, MCP, etc.
- Enterprise AI – RAG, vector DB, observability, prompt optimization.
Architecture & Delivery
- Strong experience in solution architecture leveraging AEM, Agentic, microservices, APIs, and cloud‑native systems.
Leadership
- Proven track record of technical leadership for large and complex engagements and building competencies.
Stakeholder Management
- Experience working with global clients, pre‑sales teams, and executive stakeholders.
