Job summary

Carelon Global Solutions India is seeking a Tech Lead III - AI to build and scale Gen AI capabilities across the organization. You will lead end-to-end development, model selection, fine-tuning, and deployment, working with product, engineering, and data science teams.

The role demands 8+ years of Gen AI experience, expertise in LLMs, NLP, Python, and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure), and a strong focus on responsible AI, data privacy, and scalable architectures.

Qualifications

• Master’s in Computer Science, AI/ML, or related field.
• Experience in domain‑specific Gen AI applications (e.g., healthcare, finance, retail).
• 8+ years of experience in developing and implementing Gen AI solutions.
• Strong SQL skills.
• Experience with agile frameworks like Kanban, Scrum, and SAFe (Optional)

Responsibilities

• 8+ Years of exp in developing and implementing Gen AI solutions.
• Lead end-to-end development of Gen AI solutions including model selection, fine-tuning, and deployment.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Product, Engineering, Data Science) to identify use cases and deliver scalable Gen AI applications.
• Architect and implement solutions using LLMs (e.g., GPT, LLaMA, Claude), multimodal models, and custom pipelines.
• Drive prompt engineering, model evaluation, and performance optimization.
• Ensure ethical AI practices, data privacy, and responsible model usage.
• Mentor junior team members and contribute to building a Gen AI Center of Excellence.
• Strong expertise inPython,PyTorch,TensorFlow, andHugging Face Transformers.
• Hands-on experience withLLMs,diffusion models,GANs, ormultimodal AI.
• Deep understanding ofNLP,computer vision, andgenerative modeling techniques.
• Experience withcloud platforms(AWS, Azure, GCP) andMLOpstools.
• Familiarity withvector databases,RAG pipelines, andLangChainor similar frameworks.
• Proven track record of delivering Gen AI solutions in production.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experienced in providing technical solutions and working closely with architecture and dev teams to derive the desired outcome.
