Qualifications

• 10+ years of backend engineering experience.
• Hands-on Python development with FastAPI and Django.

Responsibilities

• Lead backend engineering and architecture decisions across platforms.

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Tech Lead / Engineering Lead with strong Backend Python expertise to lead backend development, system architecture, scalability, and technical delivery across fintech and digital platforms.

The ideal candidate must have hands-on experience in Python, FastAPI, Django, REST APIs, microservices, cloud-native architecture, Kubernetes, Docker, databases, production troubleshooting, RCA, and high-volume transactional systems.

• Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and cloud infrastructure, preferably AWS or Azure.
• Strong understanding of distributed systems and scalable backend architecture.
• Experience with monitoring and observability tools such as Grafana, Prometheus, ELK, or similar.
• Strong debugging, production support, and incident management experience.
• Experience leading engineering teams and technical delivery.

Preferred Experience

• FinTech, payment gateway, banking, or regulated industry experience.
• Experience with high-volume transactional systems.
• Exposure to PCI DSS, SOC2, security, or compliance environments.
• Experience with event-driven architecture, queues, and asynchronous processing.
