RapidBrains is seeking an experienced Tech Lead – C Programmer to join our team in Pune and drive development of mission-critical post-trade financial applications. You will leverage strong C/C++ skills, plus C#/.NET, to modernize legacy systems and deliver scalable solutions in a capital markets context.

The role requires 7+ years of software development, leadership capabilities, and a proven track record in financial services.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of software development experience in large enterprise applications.
• Strong hands-on experience in C programming.
• Experience with C#/.NET development.
• Strong understanding of OO Design/OOP.
• Advanced SQL skills, data modeling, and query optimization.
• Experience designing complex workflows and enterprise solutions.
• Strong knowledge of source control systems (Git or similar).
• Experience with scheduled/batch processing and production support.
• Excellent debugging, troubleshooting, and documentation skills.
• Minimum 5 years of Financial Services or Capital Markets experience.

Job Title : Tech Lead – C/C++ Programmer

We are looking for an experienced Tech Lead – C Programmer to join our team and drive the development and modernization of mission-critical post-trade financial applications. If you have strong expertise in C/C++ programming, C#/.NET, and the Financial Services/Capital Markets domain, we'd love to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain applications supporting post-trade workflows, transaction processing, financial calculations, and regulatory reporting.
• Translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions, including service architecture, data models, and system integrations.
• Modernize legacy applications through refactoring and service enablement initiatives.
• Lead and mentor development teams by conducting code reviews and enforcing engineering best practices.
• Integrate legacy C applications with C#/.NET services.
• Optimize application performance, reliability, and scalability.
• Manage production support activities, including incident triage, root cause analysis, and process automation.
• Ensure stability and resilience of scheduled and End-of-Day (EOD) batch processes.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders during requirement gathering, UAT, and solution validation.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of software development experience in large enterprise applications.
• Strong hands-on experience in C Programming.
• Experience with C#/.NET Development.
• Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Design (OOD) and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP).
• Advanced SQL skills, including query optimization, schema design, and complex data modeling.
• Experience designing complex application workflows and enterprise solutions.
• Strong knowledge of source control systems (Git or similar).
• Experience with scheduled/batch processing and production support.
• Excellent debugging, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and technical documentation skills.
• Minimum 5 years of Financial Services or Capital Markets experience.
