Senior Talent Acquisition Associate | Premium Banking Project Focus | Proficient in End-to-End Recruitment | Bounteous Accolite

Experience: 7-10 years (strictly no less than 7 years)

Notice Period: Immediate or within 15 days

Primary Responsibilities:

This position is for a development role in our Fixed Income and FX Client Connectivity team. In this role, the person will work on C++ applications to provide session management, validations, translations, standardizations, client specific enrichments among other functions. The candidate will participate and contribute to the design and development of Client Connectivity core infrastructure and processing software.

Responsibilities will include:

1. Contribute to the design, development and implementation of the global teams strategic plans to meet the firms Client Connectivity demand.
2. Work with the Business Units and application teams to understand requirements and define potential solutions.
3. Be involved in all aspects of the project lifecycle from requirements to deployment and subsequent support.
4. Enhance existing systems to meet new requirements.
5. Design/develop products to add value to the services the team provides.
6. Perform regression testing, configuration changes and deployment to production.

Skills required (essential):

1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
2. 7+ years of experience with C++.
3. Hands on experience in design and development of multithreaded systems using C++/Linux.
4. Strong troubleshooting skills.
5. Python/Perl and UNIX/Linux shell scripting.
6. Knowledge of the Unix/Linux operating system to perform troubleshooting, monitoring and system parameter tuning.
7. Self-motivated and an ownership mentality.
8. Excellent written and oral communication skills.
9. Experience supporting a mission critical system.

Desired Skills:

1. Experience with eTrading either Fixed Income, FX or Equities.
2. Hands on experience of FIX protocol, common fields and use cases.
3. Hands on experience working on low latency, high throughput, high availability systems.
4. Knowledge of finance – various asset classes and their characteristics, particularly with respect to electronic trading.
5. Knowledge of network concepts; understand the concepts of TCP/IP and UDP connectivity and data transfer.
