Role: Sr. Tech Lead/ Tech Manager (AWS+Data engineer)

Total Experience: 7 to 12 Years

Job Location: Gurgaon

Office DaysHybrid, 3 days

Job Purpose:

• Lead teams and drive end-to-end project delivery
• Help in designing enterprise-grade cloud-based applications for data operations and analytics
• Create architecture diagrams and technical documentation for signoffs and guiding the dev teams
• Work on Data Ingestion, Preparation, and Transformation. Debug production failures and identify solutions.
• Partner with Engagement Managers to run client conversations

Must have - Technical & Soft Skills

• Strong technical background with experience in deploying solutions on cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP). AWS Preferred
• Strong hands‑on experience in programming languages like Scala with Spark, Python
• Hands‑on experience with data processing at scale using event‑driven systems, message queues (Kafka/ Flink/Spark Streaming)
• Hands‑on experience with AWS services like EMR, Kinesis, S3, CloudFormation, Glue, API Gateway, Lake Formation
• Experience with processing raw data at scale (including writing scripts, web scraping, calling APIs, writing SQL queries, etc.)
• Knowledge of data pipeline automation using DevOps tools
• Hands‑on experience analyzing source system data and data flows, working with structured and unstructured data
• Must be very strong in writing SQL queries
• Strong technical, analytical, and problem‑solving skills
• Strong organizational skills, with the ability to work autonomously as well as in a team‑based environment
• Pleasant personality, strong communication & interpersonal skills

Nice to have

• Scripting: Unix or Shell scripting
• Exposure to various ETL and business intelligence tools
• Experience in data warehouse design and best practices
• A strong background in troubleshooting and technology support will be beneficial.

Educational Qualification

• A bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, or a related discipline is required to work as a technical lead
• Certification on AWS would be a big plus
• Individuals in this field can further display leadership skills by completing project management training
• Professional certification offered by the Project Management Institute
