Job summary

Nexthink, Bengaluru, seeks an experienced senior software engineer to advance our platform. You will own and evolve the team's technical roadmap, design and implement features, and work with Product to ensure feasible, scalable solutions. Strong Java, Kafka, and API design skills plus English proficiency are required.

Job Description

Our project is to provide visual solution to investigate and queryalldata from our platform for customers usingNexthink Query Language (NQL)behind thescenehiding the complexity of the language.For that we developed Visual Editor, Rich data table with actions over data, and for more advanced queries weprovide NQLEditorbuild on top of MonacoEditor.

Ability to navigate ambiguity, evaluate alternatives, and find pragmatic solutions.

Strong ownership and influence, driving decisions and outcomes across teams and stakeholders.

Own and evolve the team’s technical roadmap, aligning it with product and engineering priorities.

Drive architecture, design, and development best practices, and help the team make sound technical decisions.

Work closely with Product to shape solutions, clarify trade-offs, and ensure technical feasibility.

Design, implement, deliver, and validate product features alongside the team.

Handle L3 support requests together with the rest of the team.

Promote an agile, iterative/incremental mindset and actively participate in team ceremonies.

Qualifications

Minimum12+ yearsof experience in software development

Proficient experience with Java

Experience working on Kafka

Experience in API design

BSc or MSc in Computer Science, or equivalent work experience

Able to design, implement, test, deliver and maintain product features
