Job summary

Epicor India is seeking an EDI Support Specialist to join our hybrid team in Bengaluru. You will diagnose and resolve EDI, mapping, and ERP integration issues for customers and trading partners, and help ensure smooth transaction flow.

You will monitor, test, and document EDI transactions, review maps (810, 820, 850, 855, 856, 860, 997), and collaborate with internal teams to improve support outcomes. Shift timings: 5:30pm–2:30am IST.

Qualifications

• 4-6 years of experience in EDI support, technical application support, integration support, or a related support environment.
• Experience with customer onboarding, trading partner implementation, transaction monitoring, and issue resolution.
• Industry knowledge or experience in EDI, ERP, supply chain, distribution, manufacturing, retail, or related business processes is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supports EDI operations: setup, monitoring, troubleshooting, testing, and issue resolution.
• Diagnose EDI, mapping, ERP integration, and transaction flow issues with customers via phone, email, or chat.
• Document findings and escalate when needed.
• Sets up new EDI transactions, supports partner onboarding, monitors existing transactions, and helps resolve recurring issues by identifying long-term corrective actions.
• Reviews existing EDI maps, supports commonly used EDI documents such as 810, 820, 850, 855, 856, 860, and 997, and works with protocols such as FTP, FTPS, SFTP, and AS2.
• Creates and maintains internal and customer-facing documentation, contributes to knowledge base articles, and collaborates with internal teams to improve support outcomes.

What you will be doing

What you will likely bring

• Knowledge of EDI standards including ANSI X12 and EDIFACT.
• Understanding of EDI transaction flow, structure, mapping, ERP integration, and trading partner setup.
• Knowledge of EDI documents and communication protocols such as FTP, FTPS, SFTP, and AS2.
• Strong troubleshooting, testing, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
• Clear verbal and written communication skills with a strong customer support focus.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a support team.
