Job summary

Epicor India is seeking a Senior Product Developer to join the Bangalore Technology Center. You will manage code promotion, build deployment pipelines, and ensure reliable delivery across ERP products. The role involves cloud and on-premises environments and emphasizes scalable, secure software delivery.

You will collaborate with Engineering, QA, and Product teams to improve release quality, implement security controls, and drive automation across CI/CD, IaC, and monitoring.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in DevOps, Build & Release Engineering.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions (preferred), Jenkins, or GitLab CI/CD.
• Strong knowledge of Git, version control, and branching strategies.
• Experience deploying and supporting applications in cloud environments such as AWS.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes for containerization and orchestration.

Job description

Role Summary/Purpose

This position is based in our Bangalore Technology Center and is part of the Product Engineering Payments team, supporting both on-premises and cloud applications. As a Product Developer Senior, you will manage code promotion from development to production, create & maintain deployment pipelines, and ensure the reliable delivery of solutions supporting multiple ERP products globally. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to scalable, secure, and high-quality software delivery.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in DevOps, Build & Release Engineering.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions(preferred), Jenkins, or GitLab CI/CD.
• Strong knowledge of Git, version control, and branching strategies.
• Experience deploying and supporting applications in cloud environments such as AWS.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes for containerization and orchestration of applications.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools, such as Terraform, for provisioning, managing, and automating cloud infrastructure.
• Proficiency in scripting and automation using PowerShell, Bash, Python, or similar technologies.
• Familiarity with monitoring and observability tools such as Kibana.
• Good understanding of Linux and Windows administration.
• Knowledge of DevOps best practices, release management, security, and deployment automation.
• Experience troubleshooting application, deployment, and infrastructure issues in production environments.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

You Will Be Responsible For

• Troubleshooting and resolving build, deployment, and infrastructure-related issues.

Nice to Have

• Experience supporting enterprise SaaS, ERP, or cloud-based applications.
• Exposure to microservices architecture and cloud-native technologies.
• Understanding of security, vulnerability management, and compliance practices within CI/CD pipelines.
• Relevant certifications in AWS, Kubernetes, Terraform, or related DevOps technologies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in DevOps.
• Experience working on enterprise-grade or product-based systems is preferred.
