Job Responsibilities

1. Software Asset Management: Develop and implement software asset management processes. Ensure compliance with licensing agreements and track software usage.
2. License Compliance: Conduct audits to verify compliance with software license terms. Identify non-compliant software usage and collaborate to resolve violations.
3. Audits: Conduct compliance audits and address findings to eliminate non-conformance.
4. Optimization and Cost Reduction: Identify opportunities for optimizing software usage and implement cost-effective procurement strategies.
5. Risk Management: Monitor software license agreements and stay updated with licensing trends and best practices.
6. Documentation and Reporting: Maintain records of software licenses and prepare reports on compliance and optimization.
7. Training and Support: Provide guidance and conduct training on software asset management practices.
8. Performance Metrics: Analyze compliance metrics and implement processes for improvement.
9. Corrective Action: Drive initiatives to mitigate risks and meet goals.
10. Quality Assurance SOPs: Develop and maintain quality procedures.

Key Skills and Experience

1. SAM Processes and Practices: Understanding of software asset management principles and frameworks.
2. Software Licensing: Knowledge of licensing models and agreements.
3. Compliance and Auditing: Experience in conducting software license audits.
4. Risk Management: Understanding of risks associated with software asset management.
5. SAM Tools and Technologies: Experience with SAM tools and inventory management systems.
6. Data Analysis and Reporting: Strong analytical skills for tracking compliance metrics.
7. Vendor Management: Experience managing software vendor relationships.
8. Communication and Collaboration: Excellent interpersonal skills to work with cross-functional teams.
9. Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail in license management.
10. Continuous Learning: Willingness to stay updated with industry advancements.
11. Certification: Relevant certifications in software asset management are a plus.
