Job summary

3D Engineering Automation LLP is seeking a seasoned Teamcenter Presales & Solution Architect Consultant with 15–20 years of PLM experience to lead technical sales cycles and author comprehensive SOWs and proposals.

The role demands designing end-to-end Teamcenter architectures (on-prem/cloud/hybrid), CAD/ERP/MES integrations, and strong client-facing communication for CXO-level stakeholders. Prior SI/partner ecosystem exposure is a plus.

Qualifications

• 15–20 years of overall PLM experience, with at least 8–10 years in Teamcenter.
• 5–8 full-cycle Teamcenter implementations across multiple industries.
• Hands-on architect-level knowledge of Teamcenter modules: BOM Management, Change Management, Workflow, Classification, Structure Manager, Active Workspace, Reporting & Analytics.
• Experience with Teamcenter integrations (CAD, ERP/MES) and migration/upgrade projects.
• Proven ability to author SOWs, proposals and commercial documents independently.
• Strong estimation and costing skills for PLM projects.
• Excellent client-facing, presentation, and communication skills — CXO-level stakeholders.
• Experience working with Siemens partner ecosystem is a plus.

Role Summary

We are looking for a seasoned Teamcenter Presales & Solution Architect Consultant with 15–20 years of experience in PLM implementation and consulting. The ideal candidate will act as a trusted technical advisor during the sales cycle, translating customer business requirements into winning Teamcenter solutions, and will be responsible for authoring detailed, commercially sound Statements of Work (SOW) and proposals.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead presales engagements for Teamcenter PLM opportunities — discovery workshops, requirement gathering, and solution design.
• Design end-to-end Teamcenter solution architectures (on-prem/cloud/hybrid) covering CAD integration, BOM management, change management, workflow, classification, and Active Workspace.
• Prepare and deliver solution presentations, demos, and proof-of-concepts (POCs) tailored to customer use cases.
• Respond to RFPs/RFIs/RFQs with technical write-ups, architecture diagrams, and effort estimates.
• Partner with sales/account teams to shape deal strategy, competitive positioning, and win themes.

SOW & Proposal Development

• Independently author comprehensive SOWs including scope, deliverables, assumptions, exclusions, acceptance criteria, timelines, and resourcing plans.
• Develop effort estimation models (function point, T-shirt sizing, or historical benchmarking) and translate them into pricing/costing inputs.
• Define project phases, milestones, and RACI in line with implementation methodology (Agile/Waterfall/Hybrid).
• Ensure SOWs finalization with customer.

Technical Leadership

• Provide architectural guidance on Teamcenter customization, configuration, integrations (ERP/MES/CAD tools like NX, CATIA, SolidWorks), migration, and upgrade strategies.
• Validate technical feasibility of proposed solutions with delivery/engineering teams before finalizing proposals.
• Stay current with Siemens Teamcenter roadmap, licensing models, and industry best practices.

Stakeholder Management

• Serve as the primary technical point of contact for customers during the sales cycle.
• Liaise with Siemens (OEM) teams for licensing, co-selling, and partner-level support where required.

Required Skills & Experience

• 15–20 years of overall PLM experience, with at least 8–10 years dedicated to Teamcenter (implementation and/or presales/architecture).
• Proven experience in at least 5–8 full-cycle Teamcenter implementations across industries (Automotive, Aerospace, Industrial Machinery, etc).
• Strong hands-on/architectural knowledge of Teamcenter modules: BOM Management, Change Management, Workflow, Classification, Structure Manager, Active Workspace, Reporting & Analytics.
• Experience with Teamcenter integrations (CAD, ERP such as SAP, MES) and migration/upgrade projects.
• Demonstrated experience writing and owning SOWs, proposals, and commercial documents independently.
• Strong estimation and costing skills for PLM projects.
• Excellent client-facing, presentation, and communication skills — comfortable presenting to CXO-level stakeholders.
• Experience working with Siemens partner ecosystem is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's/Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
• Exposure to cloud-hosted Teamcenter (AWS/Azure) deployments.
• Prior experience in a PLM consulting/System Integrator (SI) environment.
