Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services in India seeks a seasoned Teamcenter Administrator to lead configuration, deployment and upgrades across projects. The role requires 8 to 15 years of Teamcenter experience and hands-on expertise in installation, configuration and governance.

You will guide development teams, ensure scalable processes, and contribute to CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Git, and Jira. Exposure to Docker and cloud deployments will be beneficial.

Qualifications

• 8–15 years of experience in Teamcenter administration.
• Experience with Teamcenter installation/configuration.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and Jenkins.
• Exposure to cloud deployments and automation.

Responsibilities

• Configuration for enabling deployment center in Teamcenter.
• Teamcenter upgrade assessment for newer versions.
• Guide development team on scalable design and development practices.
• Handle Teamcenter installation and configuration guided by best practices.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation as per standards.
• Assist CI/CD pipelines and Jenkins job scheduling.
• Work with Git concepts and source control tools (Bitbucket).
• Collaborate with Jira for issue tracking and project workflows.
• Support automated code review and linting (e.g., SonarQube).
• Experience with Groovy, Shell, and YAML scripts for automation.
• Manage automated deployments and cloud deployment exposure.
• Desirable exposure to Docker concepts and image usage.

Role & responsibilities : Teamcenter Administrator

Experience range: 8 to 15 yrs

Location: PAN India

JD:

• Teamcenter Configuration for enabling deployment center
• Teamcenter upgrade assessment for newer versions
• Ensure Development team follows the defined design and development practices which are scalable and automatable
• Guide the team in Teamcenter Installation / Configuration
• Work on the required technical documentation as per the standard
• Development experience of CI/CD Jenkins Pipelines and Job scheduling through Jenkins
• Install and use Jenkins plugins in Pipeline scripts
• Good understanding of Git concepts and any Source Code Tool, preferably Bitbucket
• Good exposure with Jira and handling issues in Jira
• Experience in automated Code review/Linting preferably through SonarQube/Sonar Lint
• Exposure to Groovy scripts, Shell scripts and YAML scripts
• Handle Automated deployments
• Good understanding of cloud deployments (any cloud)

Exposure to Docker concepts and downloading Docker images and using them in application is desirable
