Job summary

Maruti Suzuki India Ltd. is seeking a Telematics lead to design high-level features, define process flows, and articulate the server specifications for cloud deployment.

You will work across vehicle and bench level testing and coordinate with multiple stakeholders to translate business needs into functional and non-functional requirements. The role involves collaborating with IT vendors, applying SDLC practices, and ensuring robust API, data, and cloud solutions for connected car platforms.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of relevant Telematics (Automotive IoT) domain experience.

Responsibilities

• Create Telematics high-level features and process flows.
• Prepare business and functional requirements.
• Define server specifications including logic and cloud deployment.
• End-to-end testing for vehicle and bench level scenarios.
• Coordinate with multiple stakeholders to translate business needs into requirements.
• Coordinate with vendor partners for Telematics development.

Job description

• Create Telematics high level features & Process flow

• Vehicle & Bench level E2E (End to End) testing
• Coordination with multiple stakeholders to understand the business needs and to convert into function & non function requirements
• Coordination with vendor partners for development of Telematics functions (IT vendors)

Technical/ Functional:

• Automotive connected cars domain knowledge
• Good knowledge of SDLC (Agile. Waterfall) of server applications
• Profound knowledge on APIs, cloud architecture, Database & Basics of SQL
• Profound knowledge of IOT communication protocols HTTPS, MQTT, TCPIP
• Hands On experience of working in cloud environment (AWS, Google, Azure, IBM, Oracle) using Microsoft Visual Code, Postman, MySQL & Node JS & developing REST APIs
• Knowhow of KAFKA & Containerized server implementation
• Should have a natural zeal to understand technology trends in related domains such as consumer electronics etc.
• Able to comprehend complex systems, architecture & able to concisely explain and present to related stake holders & management
• Soft skills- Problem solving & Analytica thinking
• Tools – Jira, MS excel, Draw.io, confluence
