Qualifications

  • Diploma in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering is mandatory.
  • 2+ / 4+ years of experience in production/manufacturing.

  • Familiarity with Kaizen/5S/lean initiatives and digital systems.

Responsibilities

Job Description

Job Summary

This role is for a Production Operator responsible for setting up, calibrating, and operating manufacturing equipment, ensuring compliance with GMP, GDP, and safety standards. The position involves preparing raw materials, conducting in-process checks, maintaining documentation, and performing cleaning and sanitization activities. You will contribute to operational excellence by supporting preventive maintenance, troubleshooting minor equipment issues, and implementing CAPA for repeat problems. The role emphasizes adherence to SOPs, personal safety practices, and continuous improvement through Kaizen, 5S, and lean initiatives. Additionally, you will engage in training programs, safety drills, and digital system usage (SOR, OEE dashboards) to strengthen operational efficiency and compliance.


Roles & Responsibilities


  • You will be responsible for setting up and calibrating machinery, preparing raw materials, and ensuring readiness for production.

  • You will be responsible for conducting in-process checks (weight variation, hardness, disintegration) to maintain product quality.

  • You will be responsible for recording production activities, maintaining GMP documentation, and supporting internal/external audits.

  • You will be responsible for cleaning and sanitizing equipment, performing CLTI activities, and verifying calibration of instruments.

  • You will be responsible for troubleshooting minor equipment issues, supporting preventive maintenance, and implementing CAPA for repeat problems.

  • You will be responsible for following PPE, hygiene, and safety standards, reporting incidents, and executing LOTO procedures.

  • You will be responsible for participating in training sessions, safety drills, SOP updates, and engaging in Kaizen, 5S, and lean initiatives.

  • You will be responsible for using computerized systems (SOR), digital dashboards (OEE, Plant Visibility, AMPLE), and supporting root cause analysis to improve efficiency.

Educational qualification


  • Diploma in Mechanical, Industrial Engineering or related field is mandatory.
