Job summary

Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories Ltd in Hyderabad seeks an experienced Compression Operator to manage daily tablet compression using Sejong and Kilian machines, following GMP and safety requirements while executing batch manufacturing according to approved instructions.

Qualifications

• Diploma or B.Sc. required.
• 3 to 10 years in tablet compression manufacturing.
• Proficiency in operating Sejong and Kilian compression machines.
• Knowledge of tablet compression processes and in-process controls.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor Sejong and Kilian tablet compression machines, including setup, changeover, adjustment, and troubleshooting.
• Execute batch manufacturing activities as per approved BPR/eMBR instructions.
• Ensure compliance with GMP, safety, and data integrity requirements throughout production.
• Review and complete production documentation accurately and timely.
• Monitor tablet quality parameters such as weight variation, hardness, thickness, and appearance.
• Ensure proper cleaning, upkeep, and routine maintenance of equipment.
• Report equipment abnormalities, breakdowns, and deviations to supervisors and coordinate with relevant teams to resolve issues.
