Job summary

Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories Ltd is seeking a Laboratory Analyst to ensure GMP/GLP-compliant operations in the QA/QC lab, with focus on calibration, method validations, and sample analysis of in-process and finished products.

The role requires 2+ years of relevant experience, degree in Chemistry/Pharmacy (Masters preferred), and expertise with HPLC/GC/FTIR/UV-Vis as well as SAP and LIMS systems. Relocation and development opportunities offered.

Qualifications

• Graduation in Chemistry/Analytical Chemistry or Pharmacy required.
• Masters in related fields preferred.
• Certifications like CQA, CPGP, CBSP, Six Sigma, ICH Q5/Q6, RAC preferred.

Responsibilities

• Follow good laboratory and safety practices in the laboratory.
• Follow good documentation practices in the laboratory.
• Ensure the cleanliness of the laboratory.
• Calibrate analytical instruments and equipment as per schedule.
• Calibrate / perform verification of instruments and equipment as per master schedule.
• Participate in process validations and cleaning validations.
• Perform analysis of In-process and Finished product samples.
• Review activities where second person witness is required.
• Maintain laboratory analytical standards per procedures.
• Maintain laboratory chemicals and reagents.
• Perform QC related SAP activities.
• Execute LIMS related activities.
• Initiate CRN, OOS and incidents.
• Prepare record of analysis and analytical test report.
• Any other assignment by higher management.

Job Summary

4. Responsible for calibration of analytical instruments and Equipment's.
5. Responsible to carry out calibration / performance verification of analytical Instruments and Equipment's as per master schedule.
6. Responsible to participate in process validations and cleaning validations.
7. Responsible to perform analysis of In-process and Finished product samples.
8. Responsible to check and Review of activities wherever the second person witness is required (Objective evidence is not available).
9. Responsible to maintain laboratory analytical standards as per the laid down procedures.
10. Responsible to maintain laboratory Chemicals and reagents.
11. Responsible to perform QC related SAP activities.
12. Responsible to execute LIMS related activities
13. Responsible to initiate CRN, OOS and incidents.
14. Responsible for preparation of record of analysis and analytical test report.
15. Any other assignment given by higher management.

Qualifications

Educational qualification: Graduation in Chemistry/Analytical Chemistry or Pharmacy is mandatory
Masters in Microbiology, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Chemistry/Analytical Chemistry or Pharmacy is preferred
Additional Certifications like CQA, CPGP, CBSP, Six Sigma, ICH Q5/Q6, Advanced Biologics Manufacturing or RAC are preferred

Critical exposures

• Exposure to executing analytical tests using techniques like HPLC, GC, FTIR, and UV-Vis, ensuring adherence to SOPs and regulatory requirements is preferred.
• Experience in maintaining accurate documentation and ensuring compliance with data integrity principles such as 21 CFR Part 11 and Annex 11, is desired.
• Experience in troubleshooting like Out-of-Specification (OOS) results and non-conformances, applying analytical methodologies to resolve deviations, is desired.
• For SME – Advanced Instrumentation: Experience in operating and maintaining advanced analytical instruments such as LC-MS, ICP-MS, and NMR, ensuring method development and validation, is desired.
• For SME – Statistical Analyst (Biologics): Experience in applying biostatistical methods for analyzing biologics data and process validation, using software like SAS or JMP, is desired.
